Great cl

Our fourth time at this cl, a lot of members return each year as it is such a friendly run site. Lots of places to visit within a short drive and a skydiving club operates from the farm each weekend. Very clean separate toilet and shower. I would have given 5 stars but the shower tripped the fuses on three occasions while I was under it, so it needs sorting, otherwise fully recommended.

Very nice CL - handy for Bridlington

Just spent three nights at East Leys Farm while visiting friends in Bridlington. Excellent quiet location with goats and sheep for company (useful if you're on your own or your wife won't speak to you). Site easy to find and nice welcome. Toilet and shower kept very clean. It was very wet and windy while we were here, so probably didn't see site at its best, but no complaints and would definitely use again. Pete Scott

Peace and Quiet on a CL.

We visited in Nov 2013 and the temperature dropped to 2C overnight but this is is what CLs are all about - peace and quiet on a level, lawned field surrounded by mature trees and hedges with easy access to water, waste and electricity. Clean toilet and shower and lovely owners. Easy access to much of what the Yorkshire coast has to offer - we visited Whitby (amazing Goth weekend!), Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough and Flamborough. Next time have to drop in on Filey and Bridlington - a good enough reason to go back!

Really lovely

Our first visit here and we really enjoyed our 5 night stay. The owners are the most lovely people I think we have ever come across. The site may become a little heavy underfoot and as a result, you maybe asked to leave your car on the yard and walk to your van/unit. This is fair enough as its only about 100 yards at the most. The toilet and shower is kept very clean and electric hook up, water and waste disposal are all very handy. For those of you who don't want to drive a bus stop is at the bottom of the drive, but the drive is quite long so you maybe in for a walk. The good thing about this is no noise from the road, it is one of the most quiet sites we have ever been on. The icing on the cake, (for our daughter!) was great T.V. Signal and she picked up A strong O2 signal as well. A wonderful place to stay, not that far from Bridlington, Filey and all surrounding places to visit.

Last minute booking

Booked last minute, a few hours before arrival. Greeted on arrival, shown where to pitch, and the facitlies. Site secluded with hedging or trees around most of the perimeter. Quiet, with clean toilet and shower area. Well kept pitches and a well suitable dog walk around farm.

Dissapointing customer Service

Was due to visit this site, however due to personal family reasons which I didn't wish to discuss with the owner, I had to cancel. Subsequently I receive a phone call back informing me that several people have cancelled that plot, and she has received hundreds of requests for it. (shouldn't be too hard to re book then). She then told me its not worth doing all this for people like me and then put the phone down on me! Certainly won't go there and most definitely will not recommend to anyone as she is the face of that CL and pity anyone that has to be spoken to like that. Disgusting behaviour for someone trying to sell their business.

Idyllic

We're here at the moment with friends and have to say that this really is a lovely cl. The welcome was warm and friendly with nice, clean facilities. The grass is closely mown and there is plenty of space. There's a decent sized dog walk (alot bigger than many club sites). Bridlington is a short drive with a large Morrisons and Aldi close by. Would we return? Of course
