Well worth a visit!

We found this to be a well run, neat and tidy CL. It was lovely and quiet and the lawn was well trimmed. The toilet and shower were clean and well appointed. The site was full most of the time we were there but the layout ensured that no-one was too close. The CL was close enough to Bridlington, Filey and Bempton to cycle. We had some glorious weather and had a great time. We would book again. Overall good value.

Peaceful

Lovely, peaceful site. Good distance from a quiet road means no road noise.  In fact the only noise was from the sheep in the adjoining field.  When the sea fret lifted (obviously not the fault of the site!!!) it was fascinating watching the parachutists from the centre next door.  Although why anyone would want to leave a perfectly good aircraft is beyond me! Visited Bempton RSPB reserve and had fantastic views of a range of sea birds. There is a 50% discount on entry if you show your Caravan Club card. We had a great weekend and will definitely be back.

Lovely and quiet

Stayed on the site for the second time 13th March for 3 nights. Had the site to ourselves, nice weather for 2 days and it rained our last night. Mr Thompson had to tow us off the site as the ground was wet, he had helped us with our pump when we arrived as we could not get it to work! quite new to caravanning. Very nice couple and we love the peace and quiet, my 2 year old grand daughter loves the goats and sheep. Dog walk a bit muddy this time but hey ho its the time of year, Filey beach great for the dogs though.

New Year to remember

We booked late because the CL originally booked was waterlogged. Our hosts could not have been more helpful as were the 2 other members on the site. As novices all advice welcome. It is a lovely field with an excellent loo and shower close at hand. Lovely walks along the RSPB site at Bempton. We used local taxis to make the most of our New Years eve at the Bridlington Spa event at very reasonable rates. We will return here........many thanks

Countryside with Entertainment included

We are fairly new to touring and this was our first visit to a CL Stayed the weekend of 19 September 2015 Setting was fantastic and if you don't know the area then you will need more than a few days to even try and scratch the surface of what there is to do locally We spent our two days at RSPB centre at Bempton Cliffs and the second at Filey. RSPB entry free to Caravan Club members The site was well tended Only one toilet and shower on site but again very clean and well looked after The farm is next door to a parachute club and they come down so close to the site you can hear them whooping and hollering up in the sky. Very entertaining Would recomend the site without hesitation One point to note:- if you are leaving Bridlington and know which roundabout to start measuring from then the directions in the handbook are very accurate If you are coming from Scarborough there are two turn offs with the same sign posted destinations and these are pretty narrow roads This is no reflection on the site itself

Lovely site

Lovely spacious, well kept site. Easy access and a handy little dog walk as well.  Facilities well kept. Additional fun at weekends watching the local skydivers. We've stayed three times now and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Excellent CL

Stayed on this CL 10th-17th May 2015. Excellent CL, facilities very clean, very peacefull location, with easy access. We were met by Sharron, who was friendly, and informantive, because the owners were away for a few days. Spoke to owners later in the week, who were also very friendly. We will certainly visit again. many thanks,

1st CL Visit - Not let down.

Just had 4 nights at East Leys Farm and as a 1st CL site user we found the site easy to find, ideally situated for Brid, Filey, Scarborough or numerous  little local villages, facilities as stated, very clean and very quiet (we were the only ones on site) Mrs Thompson was very chatty and helpful with tips about places to eat, as was her daughter (thanks). The 4am owl hooting didn't even cause to much lost sleep..... would we go back? Yes.
