Wonderful CL

A friendly warm welcome from the site owners. Flat/level grass pitches on nice short grass and manicured gardens. Lovely views and nice quiet location. £20 per night (Easter). Really clean, good quality shower (£1) and toilets. Washing up facilities and information room with laundry. Recommended and will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Lovely welcoming site

Lovely site and lovely owners. Jenny and Steve were welcoming and helpful in every way. Nice pitches, lovely views and easy to get to the main places of interest. Spotlessly clean loo and shower. Road noise didn’t really bother us, it was quiet at night. Nice touches like welcome board with your name on when you arrive. Will definitely be returning.

Wonderful CL

Excellent hosts. Jenny and Steve couldn’t do enough for us. Large individual pitches with beautiful view from all of them. Some road noise but even so it’s the best CL we’ve been on. Would definitely re visit.

Hosts never “sleep”

Fabulous site run by Jenny and Steve. Great hosts always available. They pointed us in the direction of tyre services and a local vet for our German Shepherd for which we were very grateful. Site is central to all north Cornwall has to offer. We will return at some point in the future

Excellent CL

Friendly and efficient right through from booking to departure. Jenny & Steve run an excellent CL. They are working to improve on what is already a fully equipped site. We used our own facilities due to covid but the laundry was spotless and very reasonably priced. They are accommodating, friendly and extremely helpful and deserve for their enterprise to be a success. As mentioned, the road can be busy during the day but was quiet from evenings onwards. Access is easy.

lovely site

Jenny and Steve made us most welcome and only too happy with advice of area. Unable to use facilities due to covid except washing machine which I did use as we had been away for a while. Pitches well spaced out and we all had views. Slight road noise but quite at night. Well done for such a lovely neat site. Definitely worth a visit.

What a little gem this site is

This our forth visit to this site and each time it improves a friendly welcome when you arrive and always on hand to give advice on the local area . They even take time out of their day to wish you a safe homeward journey.

GREAT SITE.

We stayed for 10 nights in August 2020 and really enjoyed ourselves (despite gale-force winds, but I don't blame Jenny and Steve for the weather). Everything is very neat and tidy and what I really liked was that the grass was neatly cut and the clippings were taken away, which is not always the case on CLs. Steve seems to be constantly trying to improve things and they were both very friendly and helpful. There was slight road-noise, but don't let that deter you from staying on this lovely site. I would recommend Dunree for a lovely holiday.

Lovely Site

This is a stunning site, grass cut regularly and the flower beds are immaculate. Access to local beauty spots is very easy and if you speak to owners they will tell you all the best spots to visit. The local pub The Beetle and Chisel is well worth a visit, great food and such helpful staff.  Overall the site is brilliant, the road can be a little noisy but by the evening it goes quite. Because of Covid 19 the toilets and showers were closed, but on our last evening there was one family that were allowed to use them, this did annoy us as we had managed for two weeks in our van. Perhaps they had a problem but it would have been nice to have been told?.

Friendly with good facilities

We found Dunree a lovely site for a few days in north Cornwall. Well positioned for Tintagel and Boscastle. We did some cycling from the site. A lovely flat field with well tended grass. Great views to Bodmin Moor. Accommodating owners eager to help. Good facilities too, more like a campsite than a CL. The road is busy during the day but quietens down at night. Access from the road is easy. Highly recommended.
