Just felt I had to respond to the last review! We have just had a delightful stay at Croft’s Barn for the 3rd year running, and under the Covid circumstances Stephanie has carried on in her usual high standard. Yes they did have a family gathering at their house but she did walk round the site and apologize in advance as it should have been her nieces wedding day, but they have had to have a small bbq instead. The voices and music from their gathering stopped far earlier than the noise emanating from our neighbours, which happened on more than one night during our stay. Not wanting to spoil anyone’s holiday, or be confrontational, we tolerated it. Life goes on and we are all living in stressful times.
Again, yes Stephanie had to restrict access to the facilities due to them having to respect Covid regulations and advice from the C & MC, she could have closed them altogether. Again this info was sent by e-mail in advance of our arrival, along with the gate code and arrival instructions, so we went prepared to work round their restrictions.
Yes they do mow the pitches and site on a regular basis, purely to maintain the immaculate appearance of the site for the enjoyment of their guests.
Their own dogs do roam free in their grounds, not once did I see them on the gated site, unlike the visitors dog who, despite the dogs on lead rule, constantly walked their “off the lead dog” around the site.
Whilst we all have a right to express our opinion and experience, Croft’s Barn does not deserve the one star rating given, the rest of the reviews seem to substantiate my comments.
I would commend this site to any potential visitor, it is not a budget CL but visitors can see in abundance where their fees are invested in the site as it has constantly evolved over the years we have been visiting. Stephanie and Wayne have always been excellent hosts, and like all site owners, are treading a thin line, being as Covid aware as they can, whilst still accommodating guests in as friendly a manner as government advice allows. Hats off to all CL owners in difficult times. I for one will return in the future.

2 days away after lockdown
Lovely little CL with all the services, good free WiFi, well maintained and ideal location for touring around, with Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and. A bury all within 1/2 hour to 1 hours drive away.
Looking forward to returning again later in the year
Excellent Fully Serviced Site
We have just enjoyed our stay on a quite remarkable site. Great welcome on arrival with beautifully arranged pitch locations. We intend to return very shortly as we did not have long enough to visit all the nearby 'attractions'. We cannot praise this CL enough.
High class CL in much underrated part of England
More like a small site than a CL, with price to match but excellent moden facilities (shower, wash basin and WC) and very well administered. Vans pitched between small hedges in a circular fashion (around the flagpole and electricity points), which leads to little flexibility with siting, direction, etc. Field has slight slope so some blocks required. Very quiet - bats and owls visible/audible. Excellent village store in nearby village of Upper Tysoe. Plenty of beautiful villages in surrounding area and lots of footpaths.

first visit
What a gem, absolute credit to the owners who couldn't be more welcoming if they had laid out a red carpet, not the cheapest but you get what you pay fof and you get lots in this tranquil littlespot,a shower/toilet area that would shame many homes!especially mine!!everything you would want if you were to design a campsite from scratch is here,so well thought out,and certainly out of the way, even the shopkeeper at nearby Upper Tysoe was unaware of the campsite itself, says it all,my first but definitely not my last visit to this delghtful little Haven.Well done.

Fantastic peaceful & well equipped site
Fantastic peaceful & well equipped site
My husband & I spent 10 days here for our summer holiday in our trailer tent.
It lives up to the owners intentions on their website, to provide a beautiful, peaceful & well equipped & serviced site.
The views are spectacular into the fields next door where the horse, donkeys & alpacas roam between fields & in & out of their wooden shelters.
The reception/ toilet / shower are a short walk across the car park. It’s like home from home in the shower room, it’s so well appointed.
A wall bookcase offers leaflets of local walks & centres to visit.
We went to Stratford-on-Avon one day - only half an hour away. Check out the “Rush” tickets on the rsc website, released every Friday for the following week. £10 for best seats if available!

unusual peaceful site
we have just spent a very enjoyable week at this site, one small thing was lack of anywhere to put toiletries when in the shower.Sounds a small thing but as I am unable to bend down,it made things very awkward.

Excellent CL
Spent a wonderful week at this beautiful site surrounded by horses, sheep, donkeys, alpacas and chickens. As there were bird feeders on most of the pitches, we were lucky enough to have a Red Woodpecker visit us every day. The facilities were immaculate as was the rest of the site. It was easy to access and also easy access to other cities and places of interest ie, National Trust etc.
Would have no hesitation in visiting again and thoroughly recommend this site.
Hard to beat
Like other reviews this is absolutely one of the best CL's we have stayed at - it has all the key components for a perfect site - tranquility, immaculate facilities, beautiful surroundings, friendly owners and a range of animals to keep you amused....we will definitely be returning
