We spent 2 nights here on our tour of Cornwall, Val & Peter made us feel very welcome, great little flyer with lots of useful info. We walked via the coast path to Crackington Haven, quite narrow & steep in parts, but this is Cornwall!! Val then very kindly told us of a short cut via Coxford through fields which was lovely, thanks Val! The field for the dogs is great in that you can let them off lead and have a proper run, the facilities are as good, if not better than any commercial site, very clean - 5*.
Fantastic site. Such a really warm welcome. Easy access and beautiful views what more could you want.
A fantastic site easy access and easy to find. A really warm welcome well laid out and lovely facilities. Beautiful views and a great pub in Crackington Haven thank you both for such a great stay
Real Cosy at Cozy Cats
Absolutely Beautiful Site. Views are amazing access to the SW Coast Path is excellent. The Facilities are really nice, a good size wet room shower, clean toilets and a small kitchen for dishwasher. There is a field where the dogs can run free, which was well received from our 2 dogs. So many places to walk from the site. A Friendly Welcome from such lovely Owners. We will return to this site again.
Lovely rural site
Great site with large field so plenty of room with space between each caravan. Slightly windy however this was compensated by the great rural views. On-site facilities were lovely and clean. Two separate toilets and then a separate shower/wet room which was spacious and well laid out with plenty of hooks.
Best feature was access to the fields where our dog could run freely.
It was just a short drive to get back to Wainhouse Corner and access to the A39. Lovely beaches at Bude and in particular enjoyed Widemouth Bay (Widemouth Bay cafe is recommended) and Crackington Haven (although only limited access to the beach with the dog).
Wider afield Trebarwith Strand is a great beach with good parking and a lovely coffee and cake van in the car park (the coffee cup). Their new venture Coffee Cup cafe in Alternun is also recommended for coffee and cake and village is so pretty for a little walk around.

Early spring stay
This is a lovely CL, right on the coastal path.
We arrived and it was very, very windy so the lovely owners put us on a hard standing tucked behind a hedge. No view but sheltered. The main pitches in a small field have amazing views.
The toilet and shower are modern and clean.
Summer holiday
Spent 11 nights at cosy cats and loved every minute . We had a corner pitch with beautiful views with access to a secure field, where our dog could run off lead and play with a ball , something she can’t do normally as she is so nervous .Shower and toilets were lovely and clean and Val the owner was friendly and helpful but left you to enjoy the peace and quiet. Site was close to Bude, Tintagel, Boscastle and within striking distance of The Eden Projet. Will definitely be returning .

Very nice CL
Superb views on quiet site but well located for Bude and Bocastle and further afield such as Padstow, Camel trail, Lanhydrock National Trust. Short walk down lane and across a field to the coastal path with fabulous views, particularly south. Well run site, friendly owners, good toilet and wet room facilities if you need them, spacious field. It was extremely wet when we stayed and you want to book a top pitch if like us you do not have four wheel drive. Highly recommend this beautiful site.
Everything you could wish for
Just spent 4 nights on this beautiful little site. Very welcoming owners, fantastic views, peace and quiet, immaculate toilets and shower and free WiFi. Around you are beautiful walks, both along the coast and inland up the valleys. There is a well stocked shop about 1.5 miles away. Throughly recommend.
Peaceful, helpful hosts and sparkly clean facilities. Will not disappoint!
August 2018
Stayed here last week. It certainly does live up to previous reviews of having a fabulous wet-room shower & super clean toilets.
We felt welcomed and cared for.
The pitches are spacious.
There are great facilities from the showers to the chemical disposal - you will not find fault here (if you do you are being overly critical)
The owners mow and pick up the grass and although there is a (very) gentle slope on one part of the site - we didn't find this a problem.
We wanted peace and no kids - we got that. I would not hesitate to recommend this site.
We tripped off to Eden Project & Lost Gardens of Heligan and they were roughly about 1hr 20min away. So, within striking distance.
Other things to note:
Best seafood / wine and service was found at 'Life's a Beach' just on the edge of Summerleaze beach.
Tesco Clubcard points can be exchanged for vouchers to significantly reduce entry costs to Eden project/Heligan - go onto Tesco Clubcard site.
Best Cream Tea was had at 'Trawlawny Tea Rooms' at Widemouth Bay.
Best steak has at the Wainhouse Inn @ Wainhouse Corner.

Beautiful remote peaceful CL with very friendly owners
We've just spent 6 nights at this lovely CL. £17 per night...includes free wi-fi; access to a 'wet room' shower and 2 toilets..all in super condition. A lovely lawned spacious, partly sloping field with 2 taps and several electric hook up points. There are hardstanding areas where the owners often place motorhomes when ground is soft. Beautiful countryside views and incredibly peaceful due to being 2 miles from the main road and down a 'no through road.' Hubby says chemical disposal point was good..'one of the better ones he's used!' Full recycling facilities on site too.
It's located about 10 minutes walk from the south west coast path, where one can walk west to Crackington Haven..or east towards Millook. It's is extremely hilly! We cycled the lanes to Widemouth Bay but this involved 2 or 3 30% gradient hills in both directions..so not for the faint hearted. There are also 2 further fields under the same ownership where people can walk their dogs providing there are no sheep occupying the fields at the time.
Add to all the above the welcome and friendliness of the owners, AND the kind weather we were lucky enough to enjoy...we would highly recommend a visit to this site.
