Gem of a place

I stayed here on 08/01/2016 having booked at short notice. The owners kindly allowed me to stay for the 1 night I wanted, despite them undertaking extensive work to greatly improve and add facilities. The owners were very helpful and pleasant, and promptly helped me restore power when I blew the electricity, not realising it was the lower feed amount, and i was unfamiliar with how to reset the circuit breaker. This is a lovely area for walks and i enjoyed a walk that afternoon over to the cliff edge with my dog. I would highly recommend this CL :)

About as good as it gets......

Had the site to ourselves for 4 nights! Perfect!! All facilities are perfectly acceptable. Good level site with nice views.Very quiet. Decent local pub a couple of miles down the road. Easy access and warm welcome. Handy for the North coast beaches and towns. Ideal chill out site. We will be back.

Wonderful

Having stayed here many times and in all seasons this has to be one of the best CL sites around. Peace and quiet near the beautiful cliffs of north cornwall. Always a very friendly welcome and excellent basic facilities which are clean and very well maintained. Good access, spacious pitches with lovely views, no road noise and VG mobile signal (EE). A CL gem.

Here kitty kitty!

Nice spot. Just stayed here (Feb.15) for one night and enjoyed the more than satisfactory facilities this CL has to offer. A bit isolated but good location if you enjoy long walks. Very friendly and helpful. Only one cat in residence at time! Thank you and we will probably return - but out of season.

Lovely

We stayed here in June 2014 with our 3 whippets and had a lovely week. Facilities, toilet and shower were always clean and tidy. The owner was lovely and always very helpful. We were able to use the adjoining secure field to let our dogs run in, which was really lovely.

tranquillity base.

What a great find. A lovely quiet site away from all the hubbabaloo  of Cornwall. Easy access for our twin axle yet far enough away from all traffic and other noise except a few black sheep.  Facilities are top notch. Good and clean. Great shower.  The pitch was like a lawn. Lovely and short and when the grass is cut the cuttings are collected also. No cuttings in the van.  We found everything we wanted all around us. A shop down the road and dog friendly beaches near by. Loads of walks nearby to.  Your hosts are friendly and helpful. Happy to chat or leave you to get on with it.  Would we return. By heck we will.  The only problem is will we be able to get in. I hope so. Enjoy.  N. Richardson

One of the best

We have been coming to Cozy Cats for several years, both with a large motor home and for the last three years with our large caravan. The approach to the CL is very good, the road is wide and the visibility good. Any competent driver will have no difficulty going into or leaving the CL. For the record our rig is 38 feet in total. As for the owners, Peter and Val, you couldn't have better hosts. They are most helpful and friendly and go out of their way to make you welcome. The site is very clean and tidy, a good hot shower and a clean loo. Peter keeps the grass cut short. I can recommend this CL if you want peace and quiet..GHG

Peace and quiet with good facilities

A few miles from cosmopolitan bude this site offers peace and quiet in splendid surroundings. A little narrow access from quite narrow approaches, no problem for my little campervan but if you are chugging along in a luxury motorhome that takes up half a service station car park then I suggest that you look elsewhere. Caravans of sensible size should have no problems.

Superb facilities are on offer, a shower, washroom, electric points, some hardstanding room, all offered with one of the friendliest welcomes that you will get anywhere. Pubs and restaurants can be found a couple of miles away, either on the main A39 Coastal highway or deep in the depths of the dramatic scenery of Crackington haven. If you are touring Cornwall, walking the coast path, or just wanting a few days of peace and quiet in a tranquil setting then this site is perfect.  Totally lovely.

Excellent and good for walking

Excellent site with WC & Shower. We had the one hard-standing right next to the large field, where it was possible to let our dogs run free, after ensuring gates were shut. Within minutes stroll of the main cliff walk, with access to nearby villages and deserted beaches (steep climb down). Very friendly and helpful. Cats were no problem in own housing, and owners had friendly well controlled dog.

peaceful campsite in cornwall

Currently finishing off 4 weeks at this site, the owners are really nice and leave you alone to get on with your hols yet are more than happy to help if you need it. Beautiful part of Cornwall well suited to small motorhomes and caravans, cycling is for the very fit as the hills are very steep.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back again..
