Great site
Very nice little 5 CL site plus 5 private pitches. Easy to book with phone call to confirm availability then online booking form with cash payment on arrival if unable to pay online. Only 3 mile from motorway outside Stirling. Follow the site and owners directions and very easy to find. Onsite everything well thought out with envelope system on arrival with all the information you need, and big bonus is 3 doored unit with 2 toilets and one shower.
Not really much more you could ask for.
We have just had a very nice 8 night stay on our first visit to Scotland. Road access should not be an issue for even the largest of outfits, but a motor mover would help when accessing some pitches. Levelling ramps are also needed on half of the pitches. The site is well kept with lovely grass areas around weed free well draining hard standings with good views over open countryside. 2 decent loos and a good shower are available if you need them. £1 per day Internet was fast and stable.
The site is well located for access to Glasgow which has readily available parking and Edinburgh where it's a no brainer to use the Tram park and ride at the airport for £3.50 each return. Falkirk, Stirling and Culross are all worth a visit.
We could not really ask for anything more and would recommend if you are thinking of visiting the area.

Idyllic
Booking this site was straightforward, phone call then booking form on website with deposit paid via BACS. I would have appreciated an email to confirm receipt of funds and remaining balance for my own records but that's the only negative. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and shown our pitch and generally advised as to the layout. A little information sheet was also handed to us.
The site appeared to be well thought out with roomy pitches, 5 CL and 5 private. EHU and water was supplied to each pitch. Nice little information hut situated in the lower part of the site which contains leaflets, menu's for local eating establishments, book swap, washing machine and dishwasher paid for via honesty box. We didn't use them but great idea for anyone stopping longer. We visited the Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel, 15/20 mins drive from site. We walked from site down to Plean Country Park, lovely for picnics, dog walks and a bit of local history. The quiet, sedate ambience of the site was welcomed by us and we were surprised to hear no road noise really as it's close proximity to major road networks. We were blessed with the weather in the main and also kept entertained by watching the cattle frolic around the field next to our pitch interacting with the horses in the next field. I only heard the cows moo once or twice, they were obviously chilled out. The morning wake up call from a pheasant or grouse made us giggle as it was as regular as clockwork, about 7.30am. The bathroom facilities were clean and perfectly adequate located at the top of the site up some steps, the elsan point was in this vicinity also and whilst ok for the fit and able, not the easiest to access if you have mobility issues. The site owner is happy help with loo emptying if required as they're aware for some, the steps are difficult. We will recommend this site and hopefully visit again.

Idyllic Setting
Had a brief stopover at Carr's Hill last night and while not much time to wander, I loved the site. Quiet, picturesque and well provided for. I was stopping over to provide a 'home on the move' for a family member needing a bed for the night in the area so not, on this occasion, a stopover with time to enjoy the area but know from frequent trips in this region that there are loads of things to do and the site is in perfect position to access everything.

First Trip
Nice, quiet site for our first campervan trip. Lovely countryside setting but within easy reach of main routes. Great walks for our dog in nearby woodland. Hassle free check in. Clean toilet / shower facilities. Having a water supply on our pitch was handy. Well worth the visit
Another cracking site.
We stopped for one night on the way North but wished we could have stayed longer. The road from the village to the site is single track road but plenty of passing places. We were given the highest pitch on the site and the views were spectacular over the fields. The pitch was fairly level and the facilities spotless. We paid in advance by bacs and were met by the owner at the gate on arrival. Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely walks along quiet country lanes. A visit to the Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel are definitely worth the 15 minute drive.
Mature Couple
Stayed for 2 nights in late May on our way home from northern Scotland. Agree with what said in the other reviews. We climbed Tomtain in the Kilsyth hills - wonderful views and not too strenuous, also went to nearby Plean Country park - very pleasant
Immaculately maintained site
Really well maintained quiet site. Hard standings with plenty of room between pitches. Good views across the fields. We used the site as a stopover on our way North, but had enough time to visit the Kelpies - very impressive!
Will use again when in the area, the facilities and site are as good as many club sites.

Excellent site
Immaculately kept site with good facilities. Electricity and water to every plot and pitches well spaced with good views. Excellent location for Falkirk Wheel, Kelpies and Antonine Wall + lots of other walks. Just stayed a couple of nights on the way north, but well worth a visit in its own right and worthy of all its awards! Very higher recommended.
