Friendly, relaxing and spacious.

A beautiful farm all you need for a relaxing stay The owners and their great dogs were friendly. Very helpful , but leaves you alone to enjoy this 100 acre farm. how ever can we all see these wonderful places, but with a caravan or motorhome , it’s such a privilege .! Loads to do and go from this CL the coast, City of Norwich and the broads. Also a supermarket 2 couple of miles away. We hope to visit here again there was too much to see in one time !

Fantastic CL

Our first visit to this CL and what a little gem. Host is very friendly and helpful, with two delightful dogs. The site is very tranquil and a beautiful place to stay with undoubtedly the best shower we’ve found in a CL. A proper pressure shower with a mixer, no electric showers with a dribble! The pitches are very well spaced out in a field with a gentle slope, you might want levelling blocks. Good walking and cycling nearby, about 5-10 mins from the site to the Marriott Way, a long distance cycle/hiking path.20-40 minutes to various parts of the Broads, including Wroxham and Potter Heigham. We were the only ones in the CL for our 3 nights, which was very surprising but really nice. Like owning your own camp site! Highly recommended.

Well presented site situated close to Norwich……but not too close

Well maintained site situated close to Norwich out in the countryside with excellent road links to Cromer and the surrounding Norfolk countryside. I stayed here twice in June/July whilst on a course at Norwich Airport. Ian’s a delightful host and very helpful if you have any issues or questions. The sites well maintained with a single shower and toilet if you don’t won’t to use your own facilities. There’s the additional option to book one of the holiday bungalows or apartments if you have family without a caravan or Motorhome which is always useful. Contact Ian directly for the best prices to book these. A quiet site surrounded with countryside and a great base to explore Norfolk. I’ve tried to encourage Ian to install water hook up so hopefully in the future ………. Clean facilities so no complaints at all, make sure you have levelling ramps/blocks as the main field does have a slope, and you will not be disappointed 😀

Super CL Site

Stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Peaceful, very tidy, spacious and clean site with super views. Ian our host was welcoming and helpful. We cycled into Norwich via Marriotts way cycle route, which is very close to the site and a great way to explore the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Facilities excellent on site, recycling, fresh water and waste disposal areas easy to use, clean and tidy. Added bonus of immaculately clean shower and wc. Thank you Ian, super stay!

Lovely CL

This is a lovely, peaceful CL with the added benefit of a toilet and shower. Electric hook-up is 16A and water is available at the top of the site as well as the bottom. The field does slope so leveling aids will be needed. The pitches are all grass, but the site is on light soil and drains quickly. Ian is the perfect host, available if you need him but not intrusive at all. The showers and toilet are spotless and regularly cleaned. You will need some form of transport, though the Norwich Park and Ride is fairly close. There are a number of places of interest all within easy driving distance, so there is plenty to do, or you could just unwind, relax and enjoy the countryside and glorious sunsets. Thanks Ian and Jo, we will definitely return at some time Tony and Jean Petter.

Welcoming site with lovely views

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views over the surrounding fields were lovely with deer wandering through. Access is easy. Shower room/toilet modern and clean. A very warm welcome from Ian. Lovely walks using the Marriotts Way, Upgate common and the woods surrounding Felthorpe. Our pitch was level and no blocks required. We will be returning again.

Fantastic CL site

Last minute getaway to meet up with friends in the Norwich Area and would definitely recommend this CL site. Ian, the owner, met us on arrival and was very helpful. Site was very clean and well maintained and it was great to be able to reach the Marriotts Way within a short distance for lots of walks. Due to Covid Restrictions we did not use the facilities on site. For those looking for a relaxing time away this site is a must.

Very Clean and Tidy Site

We arrived in our motorhome and found the access very easy. We were towing our Smart Car and still had no problem. Ian came to meet us as we were filling up with water and he explained where he wanted us to park. It was all very easy. The field slopes from the top but its not too steep and our levellers sorted it out. We also found a tap at the top that we only discovered half way through our stay, so it was easy to top up our water. The grass was kept short but picked up when cut, so no cuttings tramping indoors. We didn't use the facilities as we were still shielding where we can. The bin area was kept clean and tidy. We heard some road noise, but it wasn't intrusive. All in all, it was a very comfortable visit and would recommend this site. Owners were nice too.
