Lovely site, well looked after, grass mown and collected, although slopes slightly not a problem just used levelling ramps. Toilet and shower excellent, sufficient for size of site, Wi-Fi worked well. Owners welcoming and helpful upon arrival and then leave you to get on with it. Very peaceful and in a great location to access the Marriots Way for cycling and walking, about 200yds away, lovely ride to Blickling Hall one way and into Norwich the other. Will definitely be on our return list.
A lovely large field with 5 pitches, each with their own EHU. Levelling blocks are likely to be needed here, but didn't cause any issues. Surrounded by farms and fields, and very close to the Marriott's Way for anyone who wants to walk or cycle.
We use our own facilities so we can't comment on the shower and toilet, but they are located close by in a brick-built building.
A friendly welcome and then we were left to our own devices unless we had a problem, which we didn't. All in all, we will return again.
Lovely peaceful, well cared for site.Toilet facilities limited but well cared for and spotlessly clean. The site has plenty of space for five vans. It is on a gentle slope so blocks were needed to level the van.The owner Ian welcomed us on arrival and was on hand and happy to help if needed.
This is a lovely, value for money site. Greeted by the owner, who was friendly and helpful, on arrival. The facilities are well kept and although there is only one shower/toilet it is modern and clean. As only 5 vans maximum this is sufficient. We would definitely return as located perfectly for the Marriott Way for cycling and walking. Picturesque countryside and close to Norwich and the broads. Would highly recommend
Lovely quiet site. Plenty of room as the area is very large for 5 caravans. 2 water points and electricity available for all pitches. The grass is cut short and collected, which makes for a neat area and means grass doesn't get trodden everywhere.
There is a slope but levelling ramps easily sorted it.
A peaceful site, easy to get to, and a warm welcome.
The site is large, gently sloping and well maintained, with a clean shower room, and good dog walking facilities. There are supermarkets and also a doctor's surgery (who were very helpful when I ran out of pills) within a few miles.
It's easy to get into Norwich, with the park & ride nearby. The new Northern Distributor road is now open, which makes access to Wroxham, Great Yarmouth etc easy.
We were lucky with the weather this year, but, despite the previous bad weather a couple of weeks before we arrived, there was no evidence of anyone having been stuck, so the ground must drain well.
We will definitely be back next time we are visiting relatives in Norwich.
A very peaceful site yet only a stone's throw from the city of Norwich. It's in a rural location but easily accessible even with a large unit. A great area for cycling. The owners were on holiday when we arrived but Ian made a point of coming to see us as soon as they returned, he's a very pleasant, friendly man and had no problem with us extending our stay by a day because we were enjoying it so much.
The site is level and the grass cut short, the toilet and shower facilities are excellent. There is also a picnic table available for visitors but we were there during a very cool, windy spell in October, not suited to al fresco dining!
All in all a very good CL and we would definitely visit again
A perfect site in so many respects. Expect a warm welcome from Ian and Jo on arrival. The large camping meadow at the rear of the farm has countryside views in all directions. Plenty of scope and flexibility to pitch where you prefer.. The shower/washroom is well maintained and regularly cleaned and stocked.
We enjoy cycling and walking. The CL is very close to the 29 mile, traffic free, Marrriots way. An easy and flat ride into the centre of Norwich in one direction and out to the villages and Aylsham in the other. It links with another traffic free cycle way, the Bure Valley, which will take you all the way to Wroxham.
A Tesco supermarket at Drayton (2.5 miles down the cycle path or B road) for general needs or pop some loose change in your pocket and buy home grown fruit & veg from the honesty stalls outside village houses.
The public footpath network from the site connects to the local common and villages. Altogether a nice setting.in the countryside as a base for local or wider visits.
Across the farm and tucked away are some cottage rentals. So if you wanted an extended family break with campers and non-campers this might work well for you.
Stayed a lovely few weeks at this place....Cant say enough about this site......Friendly, a proper acre not as most Cl's describe!!
...A superb place not to be missed!! I went to the best first it seems....Smashing palce..Thank You Ian so much!!
We stayed for 4 nights last month at this site and it was indeed very peaceful with beautiful views. Slightly sloping field but we pitched at the top edge which was relatively level. The shower/toilet were pristine and the welcome from Mr Copplestone was very friendly. We had a lovely relaxing time and would use again.
