Wow! An excellant CL

We stayed at Barons Court CL for a week in August as part of a summer touring England and Wales.  Our trip involved staying on over twenty five CLs and this was definitely one of the best we stayed at. Andrew provides a warm welcome and the shower facilities would not be out of place in a quality hotel.  The site was immaculately kept with the added bonus of being able to buy fresh eggs from Andrew. The village, which is only a short (ten minutes) walk away has a top quality butcher and the Goose and Cuckoo has great beer and serves good pub food.  Andrew is a mine of local information and we found him happy to chat about the local area. The site is ideally located for visiting the Brecon Beacons, we did some fantastic walking and will definitely be going back in 2015.  We will be sure to book early because when word gets around about this site it will be very busy. You can see our walks and places we visited on our blog www.twodogsandanawning.co.uk

A great CL, spotlessly clean toilet and shower. Andy the owner is very welcoming and full of local knowledge if you wish to explore the area. Unfortunately it was just a stopover for us but one we will visit again if we are in that part of the country.

Fantastic Stay

Thank you Andrew for a lovely stay in beautiful surroundings. We had fresh hen & duck eggs for breakfast and enjoyed watching the ducks frolicking around; there are even donkeys across the road! The toilet facilities were spotless and there was also a jacuzzi which we didn't have time to try but looked lovely. It is an ideal base mid way between Brecon Beacons and the Gower so you are spoilt for choice. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner, Andrew, and we will definitely return!

A special piece of the countryside

An absolutely spotless site.  The owner, Andrew and his lovely family gave us a warm welcome.  Very friendly and helpful. The site has a new wet room and toilet facility and the icing on the cake is the bookable jacuzzi! A great place to break up the journey to/from north wales, or for a longer stay to see the many sites in the area.   Would definitely recommend this site and will be visiting it again. Only 5 pitches so book in advance because when this site is in the book next year I think it will get booked up quickly.   Thank you Andrew

Exceptional CL>

I can only agree with all the other reviewers re the facilities, the welcoming owner, the eggs, the views and good location for many places of interest. The A road only a few yards away has little traffic and no noise, but so convenient if narrow lanes are not your towing ideal. This is a generous 1/2 acre, nearly flat and well lawned. Sheep, pony and donkeys with youngsters. Llanadog has pubs, small shops a few minutes walk away. Highly recommended.

many fantastic return visits

we have become regulars at Barons Court. We have new things to see every time we go there. The site is always being updated(discreetly). The owners are a fabulous family and nothing is too much trouble for them. We often have the fresh Duck and Chicken Eggs and as per a previous review, they are delicious. We spent my birthday there and I was deighted to receive a card and a bottle of wine. Going again soon in a couple of weeks. Would recommend it to anyone..........give it a go..........you wont be disappointed!!!

Thoroughly recommended

My wife and I were made extremely welcome by the owner and his family when we arrived recently. The brand new toilet and shower block provides facilities to a very high standard, which put the facilities at many other sites to shame. Fresh chicken and duck eggs are available at a very reasonable price and taste delicious (they won 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes at the local show). The site is reasonably flat and the location is superb. We took drives into some stunning scenery in the Black Mountains and the Cambrian Mountains. The owner genuinely makes a great effort to make club members feel welcome and this site is highly recommended by us!

Barons Court

Just had a fantastic relaxing weekend at this recently opened CL. the owner is very friendly, extremely helpful and very welcoming and has a good sense of humor. Nothing was too much trouble for him or his family. There are chickens, ducks and sheep and the most beautiful views. we had chicken and duck eggs so fresh that they were gathered washed and cooked within 10 minutes. There was also a Red Kite flying around within the proximity which was amazing to watch. The Black Mountains are accessible within a 15 minute drive with the most spectacular scenery. We have booked several more return visits. The owner Andrew James has said that he plans to build disability accessible toilets and showers in the near future.
