Simply Stunning!!!!

My wife, myself and our dog stayed two extremely enjoyable days at Barons Court. I echo what other reviewers has written about this beautiful site. Nick and Steph are lovely owners and as mentioned by others, extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities with a bonus of a HOT TUB/JUCUZZI. This is great to relax in after a long walk, bike ride etc. A must is a walk to the local village. Fantastic butcher, “you must try the home-made Steak Pies”. A choice of three pub, post office and a well stock general store. That's enough from me.....I highly recommend you visit the site for yourself. P.S...Steph & Nick wishing many happy years of (the good life!!)

new owners

Stayed for four nights in July, great welcome from the new owners who couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, site is slightly sloping, grass nicely kept, only one toilet but what a nice one very large with disabled access as is the one shower (free) room, then there is a large hot tub (£7.00 each, £3.50 for second time(if I remember correctly)) which personally I would have made into extra toilets.

CRACKING LOCATION! A MUST TRY....

WE RECENTLY STAYED AT BARONS COURT CL SITE FOR 8 DAYS IN OUR MOTORHOME, TAKING WITH US A MOTORCYCLE AND MOUNTAIN BIKES. THE NEW VERY HARD WORKING OWNERS STEPH AND NICK ARE VERY MUCH CONTINUING WITH THE CL SITE CONTINUALY IMPROVING WHAT IS ALREADY A VERY GOOD SITE. PRETTY LEVEL LUSH WELL DRAINED GRASS WITH STRAIGHT FORWARD PITCHES NUMBERED 1 TO 5 DOWN ONE SIDE. STEPH AND NICK TOUCHED ON THE FUTURE IDEA OF A COUPLE OF POSSIBLE HARD STANDINGS, WHICH WE THOUGHT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA AS THEY ARE ALL YEAR ROUND AND LESS MAINTAINENCE. WE STAYED IN PITCH 5 FURTHEST AWAY FROM THE TOILET/SHOWER BLOCK NEAREST THE HEDGE NEAR THE SIDE ROAD BUT IT WAS NEVER OBTRUSIVE WITH JUST LIGHT TRAFFIC TO THE VILLAGE. VERY GOOD SPACING BETWEEN PITCHES. OPEN VIEWS ALL ROUND BUT SHELTERED ENOUGH WITH LOW HEDGES. THE VIEW TO THE FIELD SIDE IS SUPERB WITH EARLY MORNING VISITS FROM RED KITES AND BUZZARDS, LANDING IN THE FIELD JUST METRES AWAY FROM US. HOPEFULLY THE NEWLY PLANTED TREES WILL NOT OBSCURE THIS VIEW IN YEARS TO COME. (THERE IS THE RED KITE FEEDING CENTRE 6 MILES AWAY WHICH WE COUNTED OVER 30 KITES!) THE VIEWS THE OTHER WAY INCLUDE STEPH AND NICKS SMALLHOLDING WITH A SMALL ARRAY OF CHICKENS, FOWL AND PIGMY GOATS, ALL VERY PLEASANT. THE NEWLY BUILT BESPOKE TOILET/SHOWER BLOCK IS ABSOLUTELY MINT! THE SHOWER IS LARGE AS IS THE TOILET ROOM. AS DESCRIBED THERE IS THE HOT TUB ALSO HOUSED WITHIN THE BLOCK IN A SEPARATE ROOM. NEXT TO THE BLOCK IS A FRESH WATER POINT. THERE IS ALSO AN EXTRA FRESH WATER POINT ON PITCH 4. RECYCLING AND WASTE DISPOSAL IS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE AWAY FROM PITCHES FOR BOTH CHEMICAL AND GREY WATER DISPOSAL. LOCAL VILLAGE OF LLANGADOG IS A SHORT STROLL AWAY VIA BOTH LANES.AMONG ITS SHOPS IT HAS A POST OFFICE, BUTCHERS,GROCERY ETC. THERE ARE THREE PUBS ACTIVE AT THE MOMENT, THE RED LION AND GOOSE AND CUCKOO ARE VERY GOOD FOOD PUBS WITH REAL ALES.THE NEWLY RE-OPENED RED LION DOES A WEEKDAY SPECIAL AT A VERY MODEST PRICE. THE CASTLE PUB ON THE CORNER IS MORE OF A DRINKING STYLE PUB. WE TRIED THEM ALL. ALL HAVE INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERS.WE PARTICULALY RATED THE RED LION. AROUND THE VILLAGE IS ALL EASILY WALKABLE BUT SOME PATHS AND WHERE THEY GO CAN BE A LITTLE VAGUE. IT IS A GOOD SURROUNDING AREA FOR WALKING AND HIKING. CYCLING TOO AS THE COUNTRY LANES ARE ALL VERY QUIET, IF A LITTLE HILLY IN PLACES! DEPENDING ON WHAT BIKE YOU HAVE. PLANNED CIRCUITS OF A FEW OR MANY MILES ARE EASY TO ACHIEVE, WITH INTERESTING SITES AND GOOD OVER VIEWS ON ROUTE. TAKING THE MOTORCYCLE TO EXPLORE THE BRECON BEACONS AND BLACK MOUNTAINS WAS EXCELLENT. THIS CL SITE IS SITUATED WELL FOR THAT. ALSO THE OTHER WAY IT IS ONLY 50 MILES OR SO TO TENBY AND A FEW MORE MILES ON TAKES YOU TO THE BREATHTAKING PEMROKESHIRE COASTLINE AND PATHS. WE FOUND MANY INTERESTING CASTLES AND MANY HISTORICAL SITES WHILST REVELLING IN THE MOUNTAINOUS VIEWS. OVERHALL THIS CL WITH ITS ENTHUSIASTIC NEW OWNERS IS ONE OF THE BEST WE HAVE STAYED ON. IT IS EASILY ACCESSED FROM THE MIDLANDS ROAD NET

Lovely little site.

Enjoyed a warm welcome from the owners, clean neat little site. Although near to a main road no road noise. Lovely new toilet and shower block. Delightful array of wild birds and pet animals to keep one entertained. Near to Aberglasney, Dinefwr and Dolaugothi.

Prestine Site

The owners of this site are friendly and welcoming and deserve every success.  The site is beautifully kept and the shower and toilet are immaculate. The shower is especially good and all the amenities are powered by a solar array.  One evening we paid the extra for a spell in the hot tub which was fantastic there is adequate room for four adults with various settings to play with and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.  The pitches on this site are flat and a reasonable size although there were only two other caravans there, so we were reasonably spread out.  I can't comment much on the surroundings as we only stayed a few nights and came primarily to visit our daughter who is at university in Lampeter.  We tried a few of the footpaths but were fairly limited to where we could go as there was a lot of stock in the fields including bulls and young calves so we didn't want to risk it with the dogs.  I imagine at a different time of year it's another story altogether.  Will definitely return to this site again.

Just What We Were Looking For

We stayed a week, and were really pleased, we were welcomed by Nick & Steph, who showed us around on arrival. What a neat tidy site, and the Toilet / Shower facility are second to none, they were brand new, along with a Jacuzzi if you wanted one, they were spotless. The site itself was absolutely spot on if you wanted a bit of peace and quiet, Nick & Steph, have some chickens, and are getting some Pigmy Goats this weekend, and have been adopted by a Guinea Fowl. The villiage is not far away and the locals are very friendly, there is a General Store, a spot on Butchers, who sells tasty smoked bacon for breakfast bacon butties, a newsagents / store and a couple of pubs. My favourite is the Red Lion, absolutely spot on food, although the portions are a bit large, so be warned. To sum up All in all a brilliant CL  (Well done Nick & Steph) and a nice area, so if you want to chill out, here's the place to go. We certainly will be back.

First Visit but not the last!

Booked for two nights but stayed three. A really nice, well kept site with excellent shower and toilet facilities. Made most welcome by Steph and Nick on arrival. Great location and a must visit is Dinefwr Park where you can visit the Castle, Newton House and deer park.
