How much do you pay for your gas ?

Just cost me £32 for 2.75 kg of butane. A camping gaz 907 is the only thing that fits in my van but to make matters worse I gave them back 0.75 kg because I needed a full bottle  for Silverstone .l don't use much gas and mostly rely on a solar panel but CampingGaz make Dick Turpin look like a benevolent gentleman. Anyone with a campervan got a better solution ?

It seems to me that some those who want EHU are trying to justify their way of camping surely it's each to his/her own?  I know I am at least as comfortable in a farmers field as regimented with EHU And far more happy.

And you know, there is something about not pulling electricity off a grid that has burnt fossil fuels to get it or has been created by a controlled nuclear explosion!!

But wait a second are we not replacing it by burning fossil fuel contained in LPG, or using the solar generated electricity that comes from nuclear fusion? Wink

Ocsid, hi mate, - I agree that LPG is a natural gas and could be described as a fossil fuel but electricity produced through a Solar Panel- yes, it's converted light energy into electrical energy but the nuclear explosions that produce the light are 93 million miles away! Surely you are not suggesting that it's the same thing as have a nuclear power station just up the road!! Is this what they call thinking outside the box?? LOL.

Here on the North Norfolk coast the sun went in after 2 stunningly warm days on Wed and Thurs. Yesterday ( fri) was rain, rain, rain. Today I sit in bed and it's stopped raining but is overcast & blowing a gale - I hope it improves as we are here for probably the best "40s weekend" in the country.
