Hello everyone,

My name is Laura and I look after our member offers.

If you have any suggestions for future member offers (products, services, brands etc.) please let me know and I will try my best to bring them on board. smile

My suggestion is simple. Send out the offer booklet to members. DO not expect them to ask for it. Some may not be aware that it exists

That might also prevent some members being sent site brochures instead of Great Days Out booklets or receiving three copies instead of one.

Good Suggestion. I didn't know there was a booklet.

Personally if i had a booklet i would be more inclined to look through that and things would jump out that would interest me. Navigating the site, thinking of where to go and waiting for pages to load etc takes to much time.

Sorry to ask but how do i go about getting the book?

Oh and quick suggestion, would be good if you could try and get Land Rover to sign up for special offers like, mercedes, Kia, nissan etc have.

Not an idea for more offers ,But an Email to all those in this years book,to advise of the new companies name, would help to avoid confusion when trying to exchange vouchers as we have found on the two occasions we used them last weekundecided

Must admit had forgotten all about the Great Days Out booklet so just sent for it! Can't be doing with remembering to hunt around on line to see what happens to be nearby when i can use the booklet far more easily.

I did look at the offers for tow bar fitting but found Witter did not offer their fixed tow bars and Brink wanted more than the leading firm in the area for the same thing. It has rather put me off.

Sadly many "special offers" are not as special as you might hope for, I got my Motor home insurance with a well know company £145 cheaper than the "special" rates on offer from the club brokers.

Just an example but i have found it is always best not to assume a special deal" or "special rate" is not always that special, we have the internet, use it and find out where the real "special" deals are to be found

Hi Laura, possible suggestion for you. Whenever we go away, I always buy plants to fetch home, something for the garden, reminders of places visited. Judging by the number of other outfits I see with pots outside, i am sure I am far from alone in this plant buying! What about contacting some of the Garden Centre chains (Wyevale springs to mind) to see if they would be interested in offering a small discount to members. Most have cafes, and are a good wet day option for tourers! The Duchy Nursery in Lostwithiel is a superb place as well. Owned by HRH!

Good luck, and thank s for your efforts, we always get back a lot more than our membership fee by making good use of the Club offers.laughing

Would discounts for leisure centres  be useful for all ages? Some places have good swimming pools etc.
