Hello everyone,

My name is Laura and I look after our member offers.

If you have any suggestions for future member offers (products, services, brands etc.) please let me know and I will try my best to bring them on board. smile

Hi Auchtavanner,

The booklet EasyT is referring to is our Great Savings Guide. The Great Savings Guide features fantastic member savings on a huge variety of attractions, days out and heritage sites across the UK.

You can search for attractions and download vouchers online here: https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/membership/great-savings-guide/

If you would like to order a copy the guide please visit our Club Shop: https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-shop/great-savings-guide-2017/

Thank you for the Land Rover suggestion smile

Hi brue,

We do have some offers available in our Great Savings Guide which include savings on leisure centres and swimming pools however this is an area I am keen to expand. Thank you for the suggestion smile

There is an organisation, called Artfund, which allows members free entry to Art Galleries etc. So anyone visiting a city, particularly a major one, may benefit from some sort of reduced membership fee, or one goes free type of initiative. We would certainly take advantage.

Hi Wherenext,

Great suggestion smile

We've done very well out of the great days out vouchers in the past - we saved our membership fee during our stay in York.

The online search is a bit hit and miss though. Any chance of more filters?  Just vague terms like heritage, nature, adventure, food would help.

I'd love member offers for Mulberry, Kurt Geiger and Louboutin please. wink

Hi EasyT,

Thank you for your suggestion regarding our Great Savings Guide.

The reason the guides are available on request is because we are conscious many members are happy to search for attractions online to help reduce their carbon footprint.

We have actively promoted the guide on our website, magazine, email, social and event leaflets and will continue to strive to increase awareness of this fantastic member benefit.

You can search for attractions and download vouchers online here: https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/membership/great-savings-guide/

If you would like to order a copy the guide please visit our Club Shop: https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-shop/great-savings-guide-2017/

Are you also aware that many members decide what to do whilst out on tour; that many members use club wifi; that many members use club wifi and that a number of CC sites do not have the facility or that members use non club sites and AS sites as well and, More Importantly, that members on tour generally do not have a printer to download vouchers and hence require a booklet if they are to take any advantage of offers??

To provide a service to members is not rocket science is it?

Ah, I mistook your post Ian. I thought you meant rented but you're talking about long term lease, aren't you? Still a good idea though, available to non motorhomes as well!

Hi Wherenext,

I am delighted to inform members can save up to 10% on car rental through Enterprise, Alamo and National.  For full details please visit: https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/membership/member-offers/car-hire-offer/

Hope this helps! smile

It seems pointless Laura starting a thread off on be half of CC and not returning to it to respond.

Nothing personal Laura.

Hi EasyT,

Sorry for the delay in responding I was out of the office yesterday at external meetings.

I will try and respond to posts as soon as I can however I may have to respond every couple of days.

Please be assured I will keep a close eye on this thread and will respond as and when I can smile

Nice one Laura, I have never bothered with the Member offers before, but happened to look and take advantage of the 'Autowfix' motormover offer. Although my first contact on the phone knew nothing of the price reduction, after he had a chat with his mate it was offered to me, all fitted and happy laughing. Just have to be aware with some of the first contact people on the other end of the phone.

BTW, on the page menu, in bold it says 'Members Offer' withe savins offer below it. The 'Members Offer' looks like a heading and not a link simply because its in bold.

Hi DaveFL2,

Delighted to hear you have been able to utilise one of our offers smile

Thank you for pointing out the link, I will see if I can amend this.

Every couple or three days sounds fine Laura wink

However I have noticed in he past that  this has often not been the case on threads started by staff.

With regard to my comment 'More Importantly, that members on tour generally do not have a printer to download vouchers and hence require a booklet if they are to take any advantage of offers??'.

If the CC is not prepared to send out these leaflets to members could they not at the very least be made available on sites?? It would not address the failing when not on a CC run site but would go some way towards providing at least a limited service to members.
