Hello

we are new to using CLs. To save mehaving to  ring each and every site I look at, is there an average as to what EHU costs at Cls? They usually seem to say electric hook up available but do not say at what cost. Thanks

David just in case BB does not see your post.

You normally need the "Jumbo" adaptor and the associated pigtail.

That said do be careful.  In Portugal Repsol had come up with something entirely different for their propane cylinders and the idea may have spread across the border.

Thanks DD, yes that what i have.

David, it takes a firm push to get it on and the large plastic collar has to be lifted to allow it to drop on and then make sure its pulled back up to secure the fitting....mine was a bit tight (unused for a while) and got a lesson from my neighboursmile

Re: your other question, youll see that there is a male threaded fitting (known as a 'butane' conmection) and this will not fit the normal POL UK hose that you probably have...

there is a 'POL to butane' adaptor link (picture below) that you screw ypur hose into and then the connector can fit the Jumbo adaptor

The thread on the Adaptor may be different from the calor fitting that is why I said you also need the associated pigtail.

BB, you can always do a 'splash and dash'. I did in Bavaria heading back up through Luxembourg.
