Totally un-usable 

It shut down for ‘essential maintenance’ the other night. Perhaps that says it all. 

Lets face it, the club isn’t good on the communication front so I suppose it’s right that our expectations are set very low. 

I'm going out to sunbathe, this mess of forum software has brought on one of the worst problems for users I have seen.

It is nigh on impossible to follow recent posts by viewing the homepage, with latest posts showing that are in reality weeks or months old.

'Latest Activity' seems to be the only way of reading correctly, but not everyone uses that portal.

It was OK before essential maintenance, probably a 'fix' in one place is detrimental to the coding in another.

Even though our expectations are low, TW, this forum's webpages still manage to fail to reach them. 

The front page of the Discussions is a complete mess.

Is anyone at EG bothered though?

Hmm. Our expectation are low but the site fails to live up to them. 

I think it is getting worse? thread as far back as July are showing up as latest?

I don't think anything will happen over the weekend. The issues have been reported to the CM so I expect it will be sorted out tomorrow,

PPS. Now it’s back. 

Talking about jumbled up web sites.  I was just trying to find a previous Chasncath story about a trip to Spain and I found it had my photos of Shetland attached and someone else's juggling photo in a village hall! I wonder why these muddled up stories have been left on so long, it just looks ridiculous. Now the whole site is slipping into a similar mess.
