Mind you Steve that will have exacerbated the problems on the story section as I think quite a few did use Photobucket.

It's possible that Photobucket has had an impact on the Story section but I am not convinced that is the reason why the older stories are in such a mess. For example as a mod I can't edit any of the older stories that originally had photos in them. When you try you get an error message. I have not used Photobucket for posting in stories and yet my own photos have disappeared or more strangely replace with photos belonging to other posters!! I think with the Story section it was more of a botched attempt transfer the stories over which has left the mess. I have already suggested that if these stories can't be corrected they should be Deleted User leaving only the current stories with photos intact. If someone is going through the story section are they likely to bother to read a story where the photos are not they, just empty blanks where they once were. I know several previous posters of stories are so fed up with the situation they are reluctant to post any new stories. The strange thing is that the cut off point where the photos started to go missing seems to be at about the same time they Deleted User all the older Club site reports?

No doubt the long term (short term?) aim is to continue with this unusable forum until posts decline to a predetermined number.

Then the CC FB will come into it's own as a 'here today gone tomorrow' system requiring virtually no maintenance. 

It seems abundantly clear that the Grimstead Towers commitment to this forum is marginally less than zero.

Just now I got up to fourteen with the Maurice and Monica CL reviews, then I lost count. Is this a record?

 Should we nominate for the Guinness Book of Records!!! I have reported it. Unfortunately non staff Mods can't undertake such tasks as removing duplicate reviews.

Hmm I saw that as I was catching up on posts via latest activity page.

At one time I couldn't have caughtup with almost a weeks worth of postings without some judious pruning these days there is so little in the way of posting. It certainly seems no one at HQ is interested in the website, things don't seem to be being sorted and CT appears to be encouraged to die off. Sad times as I've learned so much from CT alone. Not even the staff seem to post or comment these days. Very sad.
