PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

Thanks Rochelle for the update. Has anyone looked at the reports of duplicated posts all at the same time or moment away? EasyT started one on statins for susiepops late Saturday which doubled up.  Lots of really useful posts on one of the threads Sunday morning. That thread disappeared by Sunday evening when I checked again and the unposted one remains. I did report it from on the what are you doing today thread.

Edit I thought I'd quoted Rochelle post as I knew this would be start of a new page. It appears it either didn't or I'm mistaken 🙄

Why so many 'Stickies'?.

I did believe that it was suggested that the 'new' forum would restrict them to a sensible level.

I intended to put my 'Sticky Witches'  post on each forum but life is too short and the problems with the forum obviously won't be solved in the near future.

Can someone wind up this site please? It's running slower than a very slow thing as a slow things slow convention!

IT'S PAINFULLY SLOW

I am also finding access to the forum element of the site extremely slow and unresponsive. I am pretty sure it's not my internet connection as that usually runs at around 42Mbps. When I login I can access the Story Section with no difficulty however as soon as I try and get onto the forum section and also moving between forum sections it is so,so slow.

Thank you Rowena for raising the multiple threads issue with IT. It as all become a bit confusing. The site is so slow it's difficult to know whether replies are going through or even if you're on the working part of a duplicate thread.

I think it's a case of "press reply and wait for it" if you don't several more copies will appear. wink
