PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but can't be bothered to wade through the last 40 pages!  When using the Search by Map facility and selecting CLs - after looking at one and then going back to the map page, the CL option has been de-selected and the search for CLs has to be done again to look at another CL. Most frustrating.

iMac, El Capitan, Chrome.

A number of us have pointed out the irratation caused by the ease of which the drop down menus obscure the pages of CT. I notice CT and the Classifieds are the only pages not to have a photographic separator between the drop down menus and the subject matter. Please, please add a separator to CT.

Trouble is PD that I would then have to scroll down each new page even further!

That would only be the same as many other pages ET and in any case it need not be that broad a separator. In my view that is preferable  to the current pages.

Quite early on in this "Upgrade" (an oxymoron if ever I saw one), faults were reported about the search engine for CLs.

Just been on it to look for some local CLs in Cheshire and the drop down list of towns is still defaulting to the whole of the country.

IT Guys, this is over 3 months old now. Pull your finger out please.

The search box, for what it is worth can always be moved to become a separator as well? Come on CMC get your finger out and sort some of these problems out.

While I am about it try a search using the site App for a CL near Ely or a CL with a common name like Church or Home Farm. How the hell do you tell which is which. Using the web site at least you get a clue.

Way back in this thread I suggested that there should be a tabulation or spreadsheet, viewable on line, of the problems raised by members. CT requested info on browsers, platforms et cetera, and not discussion. My suggestion was scorned, by some, as being a waste of IT resources.

What now? We have page upon page of contributions and no register of problems raised, problems acknowledged, nor planned resolution. CT management should provide us with their current 'to do list' and 'action plan' : they must have one, so share it with us, please.

I did write on here more frequently using my Samsung Tab 3 but as it will not now accept posts I post far less often.
