PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

Getting notifications only twice a day is absolutely terrible.  Take for instance the thread on the name change.  You do a post in the morning and then are notified in the evening of updates, however if you not not log in the evenings and only log on again in the morning, by that time you post is 250 posts behind the last one and who wants to trawl through 250 posts to see if there were any replies to your post?

The money being wasted on rebranding should have been spent on employing a new IT team to resolve al the issues with the current site which is also very slow to load.

Macbook Pro, El Capitan 10.11.6, Safari 9.1.3

The photos of sites are cut in half. I've done a screen shot to explain

Why are "new" posts since last login not showing? Are you still unable to properly write a cookie to highlight unread posts?

Hi everyone,

Good news, we’ve implemented a number of fixes in the website today, including the CL Hardstanding filter and edit profile. You should now be able to change your profile information without it switching back.

Thanks

I've just changed my profile information to read 'Caravanner from Warwickshire'.  Fingers crossed that it sticks.

Thanks Rochelle.

Unfortunately the county has reverted bacK to Staffordshire.....

Hope you've spotted this Rochelle.

It's all to do with postal addresses, I think. Our postal address is Staffordshire but our local authority is N.Warwickshire.  We actually live in Warwickshire.  It appears that as the CAMC have my postal address as Staffs I can't alter my 'Caravanner from....' field.  If I can't alter it, why am I given the option?

It can't be postal addresses. Take Clwyd for example. Clwyd ceased to exist in 1996.

A large portion of the former County has a CH (Chester) postcode. That's a different country let alone county.

It's a desperately outdated database of some sort

Does seem to be a pre 1996 database, as I have also noticed Avon as the location for some members. This also ceased to exist in 1996.
