PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

Nice one Rochelle I could be taken in if it was not for the fact that every other forum and website spell checker  works perfectly on all my systems, all giving UK spell checking.--------  Its not really a problem to ignore the CC spell checker. Which I am happy to do. yell

Cheers...............K

Colour or color.  It works fine for me Kennine.  I'm running the latest Chrome.  What browsers are you using?

The thread titled 'utility tents on non awning pitches' is going straight to the home page. This is happening to all instances of the thread in that section. Android tablet.

Same problem with Macbook  El Capitan 10.11.6 and Safari 9.1.3.

You have to hand it to these IT people. They are very creative with new bugs.

Indeed it depends on the colour of the spell checker on your chosen browser. If I type in 'color' I get a red underline with the suggestion 'colour'. Nowt to do with the CC site.

I think it's better for the staff to spend their time fixing problems rather than compiling complicated spreadsheets simply for our, correction, your benefit CnC. I'm not interested in a flipping s/sheet, I just want to see the improvements carried out.

There is, of course, nothing to stop you compiling a s/sheet from the points that have been raised. You could screenshot it and post the picture.

I suggested that there be a spreadsheet or at least a list of reported problems so that everyone can see what's been reported and what progress is being made to fix problems. The IT department must have such a chart/list so why not give us visibility?

Your comments seemed a bit aggressive, so I'll stop making suggestions.

Well delighted to report that is my second post today on my kindle and it is not eating my words as I type, so far! as I have been fooled before since the new CT came into being, but not got this number of words typed without them being reabsorbed. Result 😀.  Whats the expression about things coming to wait?

Probably spoken to soon as on rereading  i needed to replace  disappeared words 😤 in fact its eating again 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

I'm sure the Club staff do indeed have some form of standard management control over the IT fixes, whether it's a spreadsheet or whatever.

It will be for internal control and reporting only - to manage and monitor progress.

Should they publish such internal management information on a public forum?

Well, I certainly wouldn't if I were them!!

Leaving aside the fact that this is internal management material, all that would happen would be that the same people who constantly seem to delight in carping & picking faults with the Club would start doing exactly the same thing with any information they provided!

Cheers

Good post Bugs, the same thoughts came to me as I read the posts prior to yours. This 'supposed' snagging list has crashed to the usual low rent thread that peppers CT.

This topic has been locked, no new replies can be added.
