'Club Approved stickers' on posts - how?

I've just noticed a post in the thread about the Sprite Quattro, where one of the answers has a 'Club Approved' red 'sticker' in one corner.  How do they get put there, and what does a post need to make sure it meets the 'Club Approved' requirements?

CoolPerhaps the people in the technical department who hand out the approvals aren't as switched on as the posters you mention ADPWink

I just can't see the point. Given that unless something is going to change, they are very few and far between. Only about 3 have been reported by long term members over the last 4 years. So when you see some technical advice, and it does not have a sticker, it could mean it does not meet club standards, or more likely, it has just not been looked at.

I haven't noticed any " club approved stickers" today , does  that mean the the advice from members is not up to standardWink

Given that we've only seen about three between us all, in four years, I think it's about par for the course.  Expect another about June 2017!

That's when I plan to go overseas ,so I might get a "sticker" when I post my experience Surprised

Has the club stopped using the "club approved sticker" or has no one given any advice that was worthy of one ?????
