Looks like a hire van from Switzerland. Oops.

There's a causeway connecting an island of the coast of France and they have poles that people can climb if they stuck. We've seen pictures of Coaches stuck on it and passengers having to be rescued by the Lifeboat men. People lose their lives leaving it too late.

You never know, the van may have broken down getting across and nobody could get to it in time so the insurer may have no alternative but to pay up.

I think that it is a Slovenian hired M/H. Feel sorry for those caught out there, it must have been a frightening experience for then.

That is one HUGE habitation door.  One could get a horse through that!

Its a horse box, across the front it says :

Pferdesport - pferde is German for horse smile

Yes and it says it's s horse box on the BBC link. wink I think you can take horses down onto some of the local beaches. But as someone said I hope it was empty.

High tides up here just now. Not so  much time to spend on the islands if they're on a causeway.
