I have seen that causeway  Wherenext its across to Noirmoutier . We used the bridge which is much further but safer as like this poor devil we were not at all clear about the foreign language instructions for the tides and crossing times. We just went by bike to view it from the island end but the sight of those poles with sort of "crows nests"on top convinced me it had been a good idea to give it a miss
