Posted on 08/05/2017 19:34 by brueIf we get a clear night tonight (last night was good in the SW) take a look at the rising moon towards the south moving westwards. You'll see Jupiter just below it, a bit like a double pearl earring.

It was a great view on the 7th but as per planetary movements is changing each night.....we had late cloud so I missed a second view last night.

Took advantage of a sunny afternoon with a trip to Slimbridge yesterday. Lovely to see so many chicks wandering about, so thought about sharing.
Flamingos doing what they do and a Greylag Goose family with a tired little fella.
Speaking of Greylag, where is pappa greylag these days?
