Great Italy/Scotland match. Exciting to the last minutes.

Look forward to the England/ Ireland encounter. As usual I will be supporting Ireland but I hope both teams have a great match.

64 mins

with  2  trys  +  one  conversion  its  running  away  from  Ireland  now

England  21 ==  10  Ireland

And  Ireland  fluffed  a  try  in  the  corner  so  5 metre  Line-out  !!

Much as i would like England to win, I think that Ireland will take some beating, thats it, I'm of the fence nowSurprised......Cool

Well  Ireland  did  take  some  beating  but  beaten  they  were,  eventually!!

If  I  may  ignore  the  results  for  a  moment,  its  been  a  great  days  sport  with  all  teams  performing  some  good  rugby  !!

The  next  games  promise  much  more  !!

Have to agree with you ABM, much better rugby today, last night was a total turn off  for me, I blame everyone on the pitch including the ref, who let the scrums especialy go unpunished for collapsing and time wasting.

Italy v Scotland..... was always going to be a battle, sadly Italy not fit enough.

England  v Ireland..... England played well but stll need to think about the final touch, even though the team were roughly 80% the same as in the RWC, the mindset and approach were entirely different, such an improvement in such a short time is unbelievable. If they can get revenge over Wales then job done.                                                   Felt for Ireland as they showed glimpses of old , but sadly injuries have taken their toll.......Cool

Billy was the game changer for me! Those hard yards won and the momentum generated were phenomenal. Must say I thought the Irish backs at times were more adventurous in open running play mind.
