How's your footy team doing?

I'm starting this thread again because it seems to have been a casualty of the change over to the new site. The Terriers scecured another away win last night at Burton. Two wins in a row now after a barren spell. It'll all go pear shaped on Friday when we go to Norwich because the game is to be televised , we haven't won on the telly for ages.

Accy Stanley on TV today at 12.30 in their FA cup home tie vs Derby County (who?)

Apparently they have a manager who used to play for Chelsea and England (never heard of him wink)

So, I'll be glued to the box at 12.30, or rather I won't because it's being screened by BT Sport cry

Well  at  least  you  kept  up  with  them  in  one  aspect  of  the  game,  JR  surprised  and  they  only  scored  when  you  were  reduced  to  10  !!

As  far  as  BT Sport  goes  I'm  getting  a  bit  ratty  now--  so  much  sport  has  been  removed  from   "Free  to  Air  Transmission"  so  they  can  chase  the  mighty  Dollar / pound / etcetera.  Slowly  they  will  realise  that  they  are  losing  many  many  followers  and  that  means  they  are  not  so  attractive  to  the  next  generations  of  players.

Edit  :--  its  not  just  BT  I   know  but  thats  the  one  you mentioned

Stoke  Lost

P' Vale   Lost

But  Poor  old  Crewe  Alex  Won  against  Division  Topping  Lincoln

And,  Trellis  THATS  the  reason  we  support  the less  than  successful / wonderful  lower  division  teams.  This  Crowing  Bliss  seldom  comes  our  way,  but  when  it  does  WHOOPEEEEE.

Only  a  month  after  and  Guess  What   ==  Brian's  crowing  AGAIN  !!   WHOOPEEEE  { x  2 }  winklaughinginnocent

Great 3-0 win over the Tractor boys today

And what a win for Man City today!

Daft as it might sound, but Chelsea played well, certainly better than the score line suggests.

We play them again at Wemberleee in a couple of weeks, should be a good game.....

The  Mighty  ALEX struck  again  --  yet  another  side  from  the  upper  reaches  ( OK, OK  of  the  Fourth  Tier  sealed }  Came,  Saw  and  Were  Conquered.  The  Gresty  Road  Demons  struck  again  !!  There  really  must  have  been  something  Special  in  their  Christmas  Stockings  this  year,  'cos  it's  lasting  well.  { Hope  it  makes  it  to  Easter  &  beyond  wink  }
