How's your footy team doing?

I'm starting this thread again because it seems to have been a casualty of the change over to the new site. The Terriers scecured another away win last night at Burton. Two wins in a row now after a barren spell. It'll all go pear shaped on Friday when we go to Norwich because the game is to be televised , we haven't won on the telly for ages.

After a couple of hefty league defeats, Stanley managed a Cup win over the Tractor boys and if there is a God, a fourth round away fixture at one of the big boys 🙏

Hope so! Might distract them from next week's challenge!  smile

Well the Wolves have done OK tonight.  They've seen off Liverpool from the FA Cup.  😀👍👍👍🍷

Having gone out of the cup at the first time of asking we can now concentrate on getting relegated 😭😭

Yes, a point apiece was fair enough, although from what I read, our on loan goalie saved the day for us. 3 clean sheets in a row now. Still not 100% convinced that the board didn't rush into appointing Graham Coughlan off the back of a couple of very much overdue improved performances but he seems an honest enough guy so he deserves the chance. We still have some really tough fixtures ahead though and need to start turning these draws into wins if we're to survive. That must be the priority rather than the (yes, really) "checkatrade" trophy. smile

Newport  got  their  comeuppance  at  Gresty  Road  this  w/end tongue-out --  they  might  have  dumped  some  midtable  Premier  divn  team  out  of  the  F.A.  Cup  but  that  did  little  to  bolster  their  performance  against  the  Mighty  Alex  smile

What a difference Ole Gunnar has made! Pity he can't still play!

Beware the Terriers on Sunday Pliers. It's unlikely but we could have a bit of new manager bounce . On a more serious note I'm gutted that David Wagner has decided to take a break from football.

I'm absolutely sure that the final straw was the awful refereeing decision at Cardiff on Saturday. We've had so many bad decisions go against us so far this season that it's no surprise that he thought enough is enough.

He leaves with the very best wishes of Town supporters for the best three years I can remember in over 60 years of watching my team.
