How's your footy team doing?

I'm starting this thread again because it seems to have been a casualty of the change over to the new site. The Terriers scecured another away win last night at Burton. Two wins in a row now after a barren spell. It'll all go pear shaped on Friday when we go to Norwich because the game is to be televised , we haven't won on the telly for ages.

My teams are on a roll. I took my grandson to play for his school year five 7 a side team after school. They've been playing in a sort of mini tournament since September . I was chatting to his teacher before the first match who said that this would probably be the last matches the team would play this year. They needed to win their last two matches to progress to the next stage, and since they hadn't won any of their other matches is was a big ask. Blow me they went and won both matches 😃

Strong stuff this belief⚽️⚽️

Not  goint  to  tease  Anybody  today,  but  right  now, Crewe  Bristol  R  &  Forest  are  all  three  winning  ( 3:37 pm )

Not  sure  who  Forest  are  thrashing  but ,, ,, ,, ,, ,, ,, ,,

{ And  Norwich  have  scored  5  lucky  goals  so  far  this  afternoon  !  }

I'm not biting Brian. A blip on the way is all that it is. Actually it's a bit worrying 3 losses out of the last 4 matches 😳

Forest are obviously experiencing a new manager bounce, but we were not good today.

Can we claim anything for the way Norwich responded to being beaten on Wednesday?

He's a bit young to be signing for anybody at the moment Steve and I think he's more into his karate, mind that would be useful the way some teams play😊

Rog.

Back to winning ways for Man City today, thank goodness.

But why on earth has Pep recalled Cownio Bravo to the team? One shot on target from Hull, one goal. Rog, your grandson would have saved it!

Fastest goal in Rovers history today, just 12 seconds into the game and then no more goals. Bit disappointing if you'd nipped to the loo prior to kickoff! surprised

Or if you got to your seat a few seconds late. That's a real bugbear with me. A bloke who sits on the row in front of us always gets to his seat three of four minutes after kickoff, he then goes out of his seat five minutes before half time and gets back after the second half has begun. He does this week in week out, he must miss a huge proportion of the match over the course of a season and causes other to miss things as well because everyone has to stand up to let him  pass and then we behind can't see either . Grrrrr😤

A double celebration today. The Terriers won a hard fought game with a goal deep into time added on, and my grandson won a signed football. We go to the training complex before matches for something to eat and so he can experience the Fanzone. He usually plays a reaction game called Batak and today the ball was a prize. I got a text just before kickoff telling me that he had the highest score and ball signed by the squad was waiting for us at reception. In football parlance he was "over the moon"😀⚽️⚽️

Brighton & Hove Albion !

Great win yesterday to secure promotion and a local lad scored the winning goal too.

Been a Seagulls fan for 60 years, ever since they were in the Third Division South, but stopped going to home matches when standing was discontinued. I just can't enjoy soccer sitting down, so I go to my village team matches now.

Great to be promoted to the Premier Division after all these years although top flight football is more and more a business these days.

One of the Seagulls team lives just 200 yds around the corner from my house and many weekends the road is like a 4x4 and Italian cars showroom!
