Right  now  I'm  celebrating  the  fact  that  I  didn't  get  SKY  so  I  could  watch ( so  very  nearly  said  enjoy yell)  the  England  v West Indies  test  cricket.  After  all  the  wonderful  reports  of  how  the  team  is  building  up  into  a  World  Beating  Side  it  seems  that  it's  just  another  race  to  the  pits.  I'm  getting  the  feeling  that  watching  Sunday  football  between  a  couple  of  over age  pub  teams  will  bring  much  more  excitement  &  pleasure  until  Easter Egg  Rolling  commences  wink

Have to admit that I tend to think & comment badly on their poor efforts, so now Brian must say WELL DONE ENGLAND & WALES ,  just keep that standard up & we'll be as happy as Larry or a whole warren  of bunnies  smile< ----------------- >smile

It seems as if a bit of a pattern with englands matches they need the first not so good match to get their eye in from then on (hopefully)surprised

Well the bowlers ( and S African batsmen ! ) shewed England what 5 day cricket is all about !!  Not sure if Anderson is breaking down again 'cos the Talksport 2  common taters said he left the pitch several times today. His figures were still good but it is a worry for me, never mind the Selectors !

So it appears that poor old Anderson is living up to the "Old" part of his name. Scans on his side shew a strain - the bane of all fast bowlers and such a right pain to eradicate ( pun intended smile ) that its unlikely he will be fit enough for a full tour now.  So very sad that, despite his obvious discomfort, he was part of the successful attack this week and probably for the last time.frown

Well, 2 -- 1 up and all ready for the next round !!

Not sure at present on the England team to take part in the Battle for the Basil D'Oliviera Trophy.  Talksport 2 at Eight o'clock A.M.  could curdle Brian's porage if he's not already scoffed it  laughing.

Keep the Faith Lads, Keep the Faith  wink

Well 'ecky thump  !!

South Africa would rather be playing bowls right now I think -- Conceded 400 runs and now losing wickets steadily, and for not a lot !!

Perhaps the S African chef will have to make their porage with salt & cold water !!  At 88 for SIX they might even be lucky to get cold water porage

A lead of over 400 with minutes left to play.

South Africa will be praying for rain by porage time I reckon  surprised

Really pleased to see England win the series after such a dodgy start .Great to see the youngster's all put in a good shift . I feel that English cricket is in safe hands with these lads coming through.  Roll on Australia and the next ashes.🏏🏏.
