Right  now  I'm  celebrating  the  fact  that  I  didn't  get  SKY  so  I  could  watch ( so  very  nearly  said  enjoy yell)  the  England  v West Indies  test  cricket.  After  all  the  wonderful  reports  of  how  the  team  is  building  up  into  a  World  Beating  Side  it  seems  that  it's  just  another  race  to  the  pits.  I'm  getting  the  feeling  that  watching  Sunday  football  between  a  couple  of  over age  pub  teams  will  bring  much  more  excitement  &  pleasure  until  Easter Egg  Rolling  commences  wink

At the moment the bowlers should be the ones with pride in their performance, especially since they are expected to bowl for up to an hour before taking a break.  These are the ones who Root said will be seriously considered for dropping ! Anderson just back from a serious calf injury, Archer bowling with a sore elbow since the summer, Broad who might need a spur to bowl at his very best but never drops below an acceptable standard  And most of them have had the Mahdi's Revenge as well so reducing their practice / warm up time.

I shall not comment on the batsmen --  Sunday is approaching so it would be most inappropriate !

Not doing too bad at the moment Brian. 91 for 1

Fwit I was disappointed with Root for pinning the blame for the last defeat on his bowlers, the batsmen hardly covered themselves in glory, and I'm a fan of his..

i hope I haven't put the mockers on them now.

I knew I shouldn't have got involved 101 for 2 now 🀐

Effectively, 155 - 2 at the moment. If England can post a reasonable total, chasing the runs might prove difficult for SA. At least we’re in the game smile

I predict a win, for England 🀞

10 minutes to close of play and Root edges a 'scrambler', Dom Bess in as knight watch man ( He's the one who  polishes the time pieces smile ) and he's gloved one down the leg side for a "pair" and thats the last ball of the day !!

Still a steady 61 was good support for Sibley who's doing what openers should be doing !!

Must have woken up in a parallel universe , surely can't be the same batsmen used in first innings. Not complaining though.πŸ˜€πŸ˜€.
