We've got fairly strong winds forecast, hope everyone further north isn't too badly affected. My friends on Orkney will be feeling it no doubt.

Wind getting up here. Looks like a day to be indoors.

Luckily, no wind here yet and the sun's trying to come out but a lot of cloud around.

It's our last day at work today before the Christmas holidays when dinner2go will be closed for three days. We've also got three weeks off after Christmas. However, we're staying put here at Charmill Cottage campsite as we need to just relax and chill out. Going elsewhere would mean having to pack things for travel and take the awning down and re-erect it elsewhere. We're too tired to manage all that and I've been doing enough driving for work to want to do any more!

Our present location with the lovely view of Findon in the hill opposite is a holiday destination in itself. If we get one or two sunny days, we can sit out in the relaxers and fall asleep in the awning! Why create extra work moving when we don't have to. Long term stay is permitted on this site and that suits us!

A quiet rather grey day here today. Waiting to see if storm Barbara arrives this evening as predicted. Hope it doesn't arrive too early as eldest grand-daughter has driven over to see her other Grandma and Grandad near Melton Mowbray for the day. We are taking 2 grandsons to the Panto this afternoon which should be good fun .............Oh yes it will 😄

Sunny and bright but breeze increasing but still 9C.  Couple of hours until chaos reigns in this household, lovely.
