We are very lucky with our storage and have been there since 1995 when taking our van home was no longer an option due to access issues.
The site we use was a former dairy farm, we were their second customer, and they have changed from being a c&cc small site to a fully licensed site with storage as well.
We pay app £1 a day and the site is now run by the daughter and husband, ex D&C police so increased security has been provided, and we still get a Christmas card from her parents!
Once when cleaning the van prior to a trip abroad I looked up to see them approaching with a tray on which was cream tea-pot of tea, two scones , jam and clotted cream!
Not all storage is created equal.

Worse job is later when the birds eat the cherries and poo purple

Posted on 21/03/2021 08:51 by JVB66The storage at Commons Wood has several L/Vs on the perimiter ,that have roof covers to stop the roof getting covered in leaf staining and a clear panel on a couple for solar panels to keep working ,

We went for a walk at Clumber Park Yesterday. Plenty of folk about judging from the parked cars. However, they must have all headed for the lake, as in the other direction we only passed a few. Our route took us alongside the CAMC site. Looks as though the wardens have been busy getting it ready for the 12th. Grass looking very neat and fresh chippings on several of the hardstandings we could see.
