We get military helicopters going over here but do not think they notice the roof of the van, we have got fenwicks here so will do it sometime.

A sunny start here but chilly then went over cloudy when we went to our friends, now got a tray of plants from their garden, mina the dog glad to see us very friendly.

OH has just been on line to set up a new DD for our CT as we changed bank accounts, going to pay over 12 months instead of 10 as we did before.  The CT has not gone up this year......it was already high.....but we pay our water and sewerage along with it up here, so the total is painful!

£3207 for CT plus £895 for the water etc   surprised

Wow KjellNN that’s some bill!!  Our CT went up a reasonable amount of £100.   We are in band F and we pay separately for water on a meter, so we only pay about £30 a month for that, or less than half your rate.  Can you not get a meter fitted in Scotland?

Just finished watching the Scottish FMs announcement.

April the 26th is the date we can look forward to being able to travel and go to campsites smile that means we will have to cancel the first 2 stops of our April tripfrown.  Now down to just 2 sites before we have to be back home for the dentist.

Still it means we can go on our May trips and our June ones. Even those looked to be in jeopardy at one stage.

Lovely sunny day here but windy so no bike ride just a walk.

Our CT has gone up 80p a month smile £1382 per year for CT and water.

Heddlo, water meters in Scotland are not cheap, we have to pay to have them put in and you can't then change back again. The water boards don't encourage it.

Yes TG welcome news today means our trip over to Berwick at the beginning of May should go ahead as well as all our other bookings we have throughout the summer we did have Ayr Craigie booked for a weekend in the middle of April so that will need cancelled. Do you think they may open sites send catering on the 2nd if you go within your area? I may be being optimistic but just when she said “all” tourist accommodation on 26th who knows but the 26th is on our diary now as opening day

It is not suprising that you have to pay for installation of water meters in Scotland at what they charge now surprisedit is a disinsentive to have them fitted undecided, our water company fits them for free and activly encourage itsurprised, but then we are continually on a knife edge with water supplies in Anglia regionfrown
