PLEASE be careful because people are going crazy from being locked down at home!🤪🤣
I was just talking about this with the microwave and the toaster while drinking my tea, and we all agreed that things are getting bad.
I didn’t mention any of this to the washing machine, because she puts a different spin on EVERYTHING!! Certainly couldn’t share with the fridge, cause he’s been acting cold and distant!
In the end, the iron straightened me out! She said the situation isn’t all that pressing and all the wrinkles will eventually be smoothed out!
The vacuum, however, was very unsympathetic…told me to just suck it up! But the fan was VERY optimistic and gave me hope that it will soon blow over.
The toilet looked a bit flushed but didn’t say anything when I asked its opinion, but the front door said I was becoming unhinged and the doorknob told me to get a grip!! You can just about guess what the curtains told me: they told me to “pull myself together!”
We will survive!!
😂😀😷😘💖😎🤗

There’s nothing strange about loving a kitchen appliance😁 I sat next to my dishwasher, lovingly cooing back to it most of yesterday afternoon. 🥰😂

That sounds really early, and well organised!    Can I ask which group you are in?

i am in 3, OH is in 4, so we will have several weeks to wait yet I reckon.

We are in the 75 to 80 without any underlying health problems group, so I guess No.3. Hope you and Mrs KN soon get you jags, and all others that are waiting too of course.

Off soon to make a special birthday lunch for Mrs WN. She's not going to eat it as it's smoked salmon and Serrano toasties but no reason why I can't celebrate it, is there? Peanut Butter on Crackers for OH. Yuk.

Hope Mrs WN enjoyed her birthday lunch!! Pass on our best wishes to her, please.

Oh🤣🤣🤣🤣 I cant wait to show this thread to my OH. I have been found guilty so many times of not listening.

Does anyone’s OH read out news articles to them as well, when they know you are reading the same article?😂

Yes, and not only that she gets annoyed if I'm ahead and I point out that I read it a while back.  That's the problem with digital news.

OH used to do it with paper when we had one. I have the none committal “uh huh” down to a fine art now.

Mind, occasionally he says I do have that “looks up, mouth slightly open, slow blinking,  long pause, trying to guess the right answer” response every now and then😂

Day two of putting the kitchen back together is going ok. Dodgy knees and a tendency to cramp  (never happens on a bike) occasionally hampering rapid progress, but we should be back together for tea time.

Scaffolding you ask?          😡

Busy day yesterday, local gas man came to service the boiler, early, hand sanitiser at the  ready and mask worn. Kitchen windows open, he had to work in the cold surprised It felt strange having someone else in the house.

It was then a trip up to the surgery for my flu jab, did ask re Covid vaccine, nurse said they hadn't received any but  a video meeting was planned for the afternoon to organise plans.

Quieter day today, woke to some snow, not busy at work, finished early smile

Just Ordered a couple if new jigsaws for lockdown, can't face decorating just yet!laughing

Nellie, glad your op went well, best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Wherenext,  please pass on Birthday greetings  to Mrs WN.

Ttda,  pleased to hear dishwasher is back up and running.

That is quick!  Up here they have not even started group 2.   😟

Not sure whether the FM is deliberately playing down progress or what, but at this rate OH will possibly not get her first dose until March sometime.

We were hoping to get away for a bit,  up north.   We have booked one Club site and one CL.....one we had to cancel last Easter, hope we do not have to do that again this year.

We are not going  to  be further from home than we could drive back in one day, leaving the van on a site, so I suppose we could return home for our second vaccinations if necessary, though if they are now to be 12 weeks apart that will leave plenty of time for our planned 4-5 weeks away.  Do not want to go away before we have had our first vaccinations.

And of course we do not even know how long the present lockdown will last, whether we will  be allowed to travel anywhere in March.  Next thing on the calendar is our caravan service, due at the end of February, but no point in arranging it if we cannot use the van around Easter.
