Another blue sky day in York.......that's three days in a row!

Some rain forecast, but maybe it will miss us.

Malcolm - Mrs H had one of those Smart cars for about a week. We hired it after we sold her car and we were waiting for the replacement.

We were amazed at the economy........from memory, I think it did about 70mpg.

Great for parking, as it was tiny.

Where do you carry the take-aways in it?

I don't think it has rained in E Yorkshire for the whole of December, unseasonably mild temperatures again, no winds and plenty of blue sky although today is slightly overcast.

Be glad to get back to egg and chips tonight as we have had 4 Xmas dinner party's in 9 days.

Bit of a nightmare this morning, had grandsprogs overnight so it was the school run for the sixth form one this morning, and she had to go to a school 7miles away, but it was not as bad as usual as it seems most "workers" have started their Xmas break, surprised

Just looking in. Trying to get shopping finished and sort out elderly neighbours once more. Their 25 year old car has now been written off. Their family know their predicament, no-one has been to see them. I've passed on a spare walking stroller from our family this morning as without a car the walk to the bus is impossible.

Calm down session now, cake icing to do. wink

We have had our Smart for just over 3 years now, economical to run (but more like 50 mpg around here) easy to park, but a bit of a rough ride compared to the XC 90!

With the small wheels you do need to weave around the potholes.

There's space behind the seats for the thermal boxes. Yes very economical on fuel.
