Bright and sunny here, first frost I've seen this autumn, thick on the shed roof at 0745 😲. No wind so nice early walk. Hoping to venture further afield walking today. Both feeling well enough now 😁😁😁.

Good to hear your OH is able to get out now HelenandTrevor 😁

Our town, sorry city embarassed, lights up for Christmas tonight so I expect the windows will rattle again with the fireworks grrr. Why are they so noisy now rather than just pretty?

Thanks Millie and Bakers2 , OH is feeling much better, I think getting out into the fresh air for a nice walk yesterday helped smile

I'am meeting up with a friend this morning who has also just recovered from Shingles surprised . Have just prepped a sausage casserole in the slow cooker, so that's tea sorted.

Our town Christmas lights switch on is next week, but the council spend so little that it's usually a bit disappointing .cry

Good luck making the cake HD, I love the smell of all the Christmas spices but don't make a cake as no one seems to like rich fruit cake.

Very frosty start to the day, but not a cloud in the sky,,great for walking in the park, its the P/Boro 10 mile run today(although the markers are in kilometres?)and it crosses Ham lane near the level crossing ,so exit from the site could be "interesting"surprised

Everything white with frost this morning.---- No wind, clear blue sky with a few puffy clouds when the dog and I went for our usual morning walk.. I'm sure I saw a couple of Snowflakes as well.   Winter is closing in, I like those frosty mornings now I am retired and have time to enjoy them, without having to defrost the car to go to work.

Caravan cleaning day today. Hoovered and washed,  Crockery dishwashed and back in the van ready for the next outing.

Just about to go and start the Coq au Vin for tonights dinner. Needs 3-4 hours on a low heat. Chicken has been marinating in a reduced red wine bath.

Once done with that will probably go for an afternoon stroll. Enjoy your day folks.

Tied to the cooker today, Christmas cakes, apple pies and crumbles, visiting dog under my heels. Managed to have a nice walk with him in the sunshine. Hoping to see something of the Leonid Showers in the east tonight, had a look last night but no luck. Good clear skies just now.

We have had a busy few days. Took the caravan down to preston on Wednesdsy as it was booked in for its first service. Dropped it at dealers on Wed afternoon and stayed in a hotel Wed night. Spent Thurday wandering around Preston before picking the van up late afternoon (later than we expected due to a few jobs that needed done). Started the journey home and decided we would spend a few nights somewhere (why not) so booked in to Strathclyde Park for 3 nights so a little unexpected weekend in the van. Came home today a nice easy 50 minute tow to home. The van was very dirty so I gave it a good clean before parking it on the drive then washed the car too. Not be awy in the van now for 4 weeks as we have a few things on but have managed to get a few days at Edinburgh CC booked for between Christmas and new year. Heading out to a local pub for dinner tonight. Hope everyone had a nice weekend too.
