Biting my tongue (and poisoning myself at the same time!).

MIL informed me on Saturday that she forgot to tell me that a friend of hers had rung when were out on Friday morning and is now giving her a lift to the funeral tomorrow! So we'll be happy to know we won't be needed.yell The joys of having children or parents that rely on you.

Just moving on without saying a word.

Had a nice long walk this morning before the sun disappeared.

We picked up the little camper this morning. Have now taken it out a drive along the coast everything seems fine so far although being 25 yrs old there is no power steering so a bit of getting used to. Im currently sitting in it just now trying to work out how everything works.

H&T , apologies if this is a dumb question ,but you mention setting a budget on your smart meter .What happens if you exceed it ? , does the power go off?😂,or does some sort of warning sound .

Posted on 04/11/2018 14:37

Not a dumb question,  asked it myself laughing

Budget can be set daily, weekly,  monthly and as far as I can see the reader shows ticks if keeping within budget and a cross if exceeded undecided

Hope power doesn't go off! surprisedlaughinglaughing

Bonfire and Fireworks on Friday night + KFC tea went down well smile

Then being allowed to stay in bed until late Saturday morning another hit with GD, cinema Saturday afternoon and shopping for her friends birthday present (I got to pay of course) Last nights meal was  prepared by GD and cooked by me another hit.

Today we have been for a walk, done some food shopping, had hot dogs for lunch and now roast Lamb is in the oven for later.

I have tried to show her how to knit and crochet but she has the concentration of a goldfish laughing she has however managed to do some cross stitch smile while I crocheted some poppies, she now has one for her school blazer.

The mountain of washing has been done and ironed ready to go back to school, where she is going to put it all is another thing, as once again she has far too much clothes and other things to store in her wardrobe and 2 draws. Why her mother sends her back with so much stuff is beyond me, we tell her every time she doesn't need it. If she had less (crap) she wouldn't get into so much trouble for a messy bed space. yell Moan over.

Just need to do a bit of sewing for her now as her pocket lining (puffa jacket) keeps getting stuck in her zip.

Normality will resume here around 19.30 tonight laughinglaughinglaughing
