Nellie - The dentist thinks that there was a hairline fracture in the root itself which was why it's been giving me trouble for the last 9 months but the X rays didn't show anything. It apparently split as soon as she touched it today.

Must remember to have the anaethestic next timeyell

Oh dear please tell me you had an injection 😯. I have a back molar that my dentist thinks has a hairline crack which doesn't show. His advice is sensitive toothpaste to brush and rub on it. I've had it at least a year but noticed recently it's more noticeable with cold and hot. If its likely that removal is the suggestion I think ill just limp along for as long as i can 🙄😉. I had thought it would need to be done this time last year, I think I'll really talk to the dentist on my next visit as I don't want an unknown dentist working on it if we're going to be away 😉

Thanks everyone my day at the Cathedral was 'interesting'. The morniwasn't  the brand new Visitor Centre was quite quiet - only 12 visitors but a really nice guy on duty with me who showed me the ropes. The afternoon was different as they are not at all sure how they are organising things at the moment. It is a very new idea to have Volunteer Welcomers. It has just been paid full time staff until now. Lovely guy in charge though who organised a guided tour which was so interesting.I loved it all but it is yet to be decided when we will officially start. In the meantime I will be doing a few more shifts in The Visitor Centre. Please come and visit if you are in the area.smile.

Hope your tooth extraction heals up well WN.

PS. I wasn't cold at all!

Glad it went well. I'd love to say hello and revisit the cathedral when we're next up.

Went to see La La Land tonight, not sure it lived up to all the hype, very simple story, enjoyed it though.

Millie: really pleased you enjoyed your  day.

Well that's quite strange, it should be trees but I see no trees! Even after pressing refresh...I tried a vertical photo to see what happened but as yet can't see it...frown I know what's happened, everything has been adjusted for your Kindle Fire....so you're ok now. laughing

Posted on 24/01/2017 22:46

I pressed F5 refreshed and got your new photo of trees

I can see the markings you mentioned earlier B2, on the right and underneath the posts. Not easy to post anything just now, even on my trusty laptop. I changed my avatar but it hasn't appeared yet.

WN I hope your mouth heals up well, have been through something similar after a wisdom tooth extraction, not nice.

Slightly better evening after black ice everywhere this morning, we were slithering around our village!

I was wondering what you were both talking about, but now I can see the weird lines/boxes too!

Do they have a purpose I wonder?

Brue....your avatar is still sheep on my i Pad

Just checked out CT on my Kindle no Borders/lines on the post. Strange things............  I'm posting this on my phone rather than risk being wound up by word eating 😉

Just testing things on here via laptop and still have borders and old Avatar. On my ulefone there are no borders and my avatar has changed to trees.

Another frosty day with a clear sky at the moment.

I was hoping to go last week, might manage it this week, my sister reported the same as you so will lower my expectations. smile
