Back home after an 'interesting' journey as the A1 was closed at Grantham. Luckily we heard about it in time to turn off at Newark. My dubious map reading skills were luckily up to the task and Mr H said it was a more interesting journeyas he was bored with the A1 after 3 and a half hours of it. Everything unpacked and 2 loads of washing done. The garden looks like a jungle

Glad you're home safer milliehull. Sorry I was right about the washing and garden .
On road problems just spoken to my uncle, who lives by Heathrow, who's nephew left soon after 2pm he'd had a phone call just after 7pm to say they were just moving again following an accident on M40 they have to get to Preston. On a better traffic front son home on m11 a1 home in a very decent time!

Sorry to hear about your uncle's nephew's problems on the M40 Bakers but glad your son home safely. Some of our roads just don't seem to be able to cope .
I hope the weather plays ball tomorrow as I still have another 2 loads of washing to do and we want go make a start on the garden. You must be counting the hours now until you leave for NZ. Not long now

Miserable day today weather wise rained all day, now at 21.00 the rain has stopped and it looks nice, flipping typical. So with the weather being rubbish we did 3 baskets of ironing (OH does his stuff) in between the ironing I sorted out my wardrobes and
draws (yes again) then we have had a very lazy afternoon watching first Lewis Hamilton win at Silverstone and then Andy Murray win at Wimbeldon, good afternoon had by all
Glad to hear you got home safely MH I know the feeling of a jungle I'm still trying to tame mine (think I'm slowly wining)
H&T you seem to be enjoying your holiday nice to hear all about your trips out.
Bakers2, its getting close now
