Just watched England's most inglorious footy game. Well done to Iceland.  Just goes to show what leaving Europe will achieve eh!  About time time we got a serious squad. How about some capable players that actually go forward to the opponents goal rather than play ' pretty triangles' when passing the ball? Anyone any suggestions?

Yes , stop paying them ridiculous amounts of money and find players who want to represent our country and be proud of it

Back home once more, decent drive up the road, got home at 4pm,  roads not too busy and no hold ups. Lovely weather here sun is still out, van mostly unloaded, 1 load of washing done and I've even managed a bit of weeding, all the mail has been dealt with just need to do a bit of filling. Garden not as bad as I feared but will need to do a fair bit of prunning.

TG, seriously impressedHappy

Welcome back....

We've been home for almost a week so it must be time to go away again - oh, yes, we are - off down to Cornwall for a week in just a short while. Hope the weather's going to behave, there's only so much time you can spend indoors watching foreign teams play football! Laughing. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

After we finished the last delivery at about 10:00 p.m. last night, the boss asked us to come to the office to do the paperwork.

When we arrived, it was quite rowdy in the streets outside after England had lost. One bloke was banging his head against a tree trunk. I think there must have been fights breaking out because the police arrived. The boss told us that the police had been there twice that evening.

I didn't hang around. As soon as the office work was completed and my delivery fees paid to me, I was back in the car and driving us back to our club site.

..They won't let me leave because they can't recruit other drivers that are reliable. The boss begged me to leave Dominos and come back to work for

Maybe there was no one else daft enough to take the job? No offence intended, Malcolm, but it's a thought?

So the boss is stuck. It's either me or the Worthing delivery area will close.

One bloke was banging his head against a tree

That was almost certainly IanH  Laughing
