Malcolm, when you finally get your pension, will you then not be able to look around for a job that pays a proper hourly rate and once and for all, kick dinnertogo into touch

Please! Let's not go down this road again!!

My XTrail doesn't have off road tyres either and I've never been stuck despite mainly using CL/CS grass pitches...

Dont off road tyres increase fuel consumption when used on normal roads?

Ok we've had 4 votes so far to keep this one open, I'll close the other one (sorry ABM...Sealed).

Just a friendly reminder while I'm here, please make sure to not post too much personal information on Club Together – as much as we strive to make CT a safe place, there can be trolls out there.

Have a nice evening everyone

This was posted by the community manager a couple of weeks ago and received good support from other posters. It would be nice to see this thread continue as a general thread without anyone in particular posting too many personal details as was sensibly suggested and also being aware of trolling.

Turned out to be a lovely day after waking up to rain first thing.  Rode the bikes through the woods,  lots of red Kites about today in the sunshine.  Have noticed this time that the woods have been much quieter than usual, far less families out and about.

It was quiet there too after the weekend, when we were there towards the end of May. While you were cycling round did you notice how much of the forest has been open up? Very different from the last time we visited.

Yes, they have been clearing areas,  although not much more since we were here in August last year. They are digging up the courtyard area in front of the cafe and cycle shop, which may be keeping visitors away. Undecided Site only half full tonight, although warden said they are expecting a few in tomorrow.

Sorry to disappoint you jvb,  but they are not doing anything to the access road, they are putting in new electric cables in the courtyard area only. The contractors were working there this morning.

Doubt that they will do that until a decision is made concerning the possibility of them erecting cabins in the forest, which is being opposed by the residents and many others.

Write your comments here...They won't let me leave because they can't recruit other drivers that are reliable. The boss begged me to leave Dominos and come back to work for dinnertogo.

Maybe there was no one else daft enough to take the job? No offence intended, Malcolm, but it's a thought?
