Decided to walk from Blythburgh to Southwold tomorrow. Might have to call in for a reviving pint in Walberswick on the return leg. Good job I can drink Adnams. 😁

Where in Blyburgh do you pick up the path WN and how long does it take?

Read all your post, very interesting. Glad your BIL's recovering well OP. Your projects sound interesting, tda. Hope that the weather holds for your stay in Suffolk, WN.

It's poured down here this evening.frown

I would love a day out with both you and your BIL. I am hopeless with bird calls. Seriously though I do hope your BIL enjoyed the day OP.

I caught up over lunch with a friend I hadn't seen for over a year. Then went to the Gardening Society this evening. It was a really good talk on Monastery and Cathedral gardens. All a bit pointless but very enjoyable 😊

Wifi here has apparently been upgraded to silver since the handbook was printed, so we are enjoying a decent connection still.

Site leaflet says mobile phones do not work here, so very surprised to find that our 3 dongle works fine!

Have booked a car park space to visit Greenway (NT) on Saturday, need some good weather now.

Also plan to visit Totnes, Dartmouth and possibly Brixham too.  On Friday we are meeting up with a friend for lunch, so a busy few days ahead.

Hope you enjoy Greenaway Kjnell, we haven't managed to get there yet. Totnes is an interesting place, some nice independent shops, and the town has its own currency, the Totnes Pound! Dartmouth of course is lovely. Hope the weather is kind.

We go down that way every couple of years KJ we were there a few weeks ago staying at Hillhead. Dartmouth is nice if you are looking for a nice meal try The Dolphin Inn it serves good food at a decent price nice beers too. Brixham is great lovely views and plenty to see. I am jealous we were there again in July and as always it was great. Enjoy
