Thanks ET and TTDA, we are trying to make the most of the MH just now while OH can drive (shoulder Op) due to be done end of March when we get back from Lanzarote but who knows if it will happen then or not. Recovery time is 4-6 weeks until he can drive (they say) if all goes to plan then we should be able to get away abroad mid May for around 5-6 weeks. The Russian river cruise would be mid July, however cannot book it just in case Op is delayed or recovery is longer. I'm happy to drive the MH so while OH is recovering we should get away here and there in Scotland if he's comfortable.

Hope everything is settling down for you this year TTDA.

Probably find all the posts on CT and little else.

I know it's only ct  but you have to be careful when discussing, finances and personal issues.

I don't have to be particularly careful discussing personal issues and finances Cariadon.

You could use my details from here and google as long as you wished and you would not find my name or location. Even if I gave you my full name and home phone number you would be unlikely to track me down here.

Admittedly Malcolm is easy to find but not by further googling simply because he gives his name and location on here. He is obviously not concerned.

" you" was general,  not you personally, and my original post was to Malcolm as he mentions a lot of personal information.

I did refer to Malcolm C. I suspect that many are like me and give away what they are prepared to,

"I emailed Rowena during the week about the possibility of closing this thread due to the drift away from it's original spirit and intentions. I also thought it might be be better to concentrate resources on the one remaining social thread? "

So I am not allowed to enjoy the ramblings of this thread then?

Good grief it will be the thought police next!

Some would prefer not as they do not like them it seems

Redface, you have taken my post completely out of context, I think I am allowed my own "thoughts" about a thread I started in response to a moderator's comments on the same subject.

As I said previously it is not something I can decide and I won't be commenting further.

That discussion was closed after it was agreed that EVs can be charged at no extra cost by plugging into a caravan three pin socket in the normal way that other appliances are plugged in. If the overall usage exceeded the 16 amp supply then the bollard would trip. It is NOT other people that are paying, HD. It is the user of the pitch that is paying up front when they pay their site fees that include EHU.

I have stayed on sites were you are not allowed to use awning heaters even though you have paid for EHU, so dread to think what they would be like if you plug your EV in to charge.
