Disposal of waste water

During our last recent couple of breaks away, I have noticed that people are not disposing of their waste water correctly. Instead of going to the site points, they are walking up and down behind caravans, the side of their units just letting it pour out. Surely when the warm weather comes, things will begin to smell and cause rats.

I have seen motorhomes dripping waste/water as they leave site but nine times out of ten I think they have dumped the bulk of it at the waste point but left the tap open as they drive away. It is the residue you see dripping out which won't come out without the motion of the van. The tap should really have been closed after dumping the bulk of water/waste.

Possibly.....but very true...A MH drove past our pitch recently.( well over the 5MPH I might add) with his waste outlet open...

Aside..overheard a conversation amongst a group of MH owners waiting at the MHSP (same site) saying there are not enough MHSP to serve the increasing numbers of MH owners/users....a couple mentioned they were booking serviced pitches in future..

Caravans can also drip water when they first leave the pitch but unless they are very close to the exit there would not be a puddle of waste water while they fiddle to find card for exit barrier to openwink
