It's good to hear that members of CT are receiving their vaccinations, good luck to all those yet to have theirs. It seems like a long haul till we get everyone sorted and hear the results of the present vaccines.

I'm leaving this open for non political comments as per the guidelines. Hope you can add your own experiences and thoughts.

My first jab comes up tomorrow, I'm so glad we have research institutions that have got us this far! And I am planning breaks away in the hope of improvements on the horizon.

JV, that’s great until into the mix is the ‘I don’t believe in the virus’ followed by the ‘I’m too young to suffer’ folk who then pass it on infinitum.

AD, that too is great until you get a bunch of drunks in a room who have had 1 or none of the jabs.

this is just stupid, why do you think some countries are almost without Covid & others are entering the 3rd or 4th wave. It’s discipline, & Governmental intelligence without it people are not seeing tomorrow. I saw the sickening vision of the spokesperson for the holiday industry bemoaning his members losing their livelihoods-really, if only it was just livelihoods that were lost for the 128,000 UK citizens who are no longer with us.

I do feel sorry for some of the people who have not been able to have the wedding celebration they originally planned, but listening to some of them it seems the 'getting married' part is less important than the 'big party' part.

Yes, Rocky, when it comes to business/jobs versus lives it's a no brainer.

Meanwhile, in Cornwall, in the week leading up to the G7 when huge numbers of people arrived to get the preparations under way, our covid infection rate rose to above the average for England. 😤

What a very (But it seems not for you)  strange way of looking at life, it may surprise you to know that life is still out there to be lived ,and it is what we are going to have to live with for the foreseable future, undecided

So are you saying live it up and to hell with spreading the virus?

See my post about Cornwall as it demonstrates what can happen when crowds of people mix. The whole G7 event is a classic example of how to spread the virus.☹

But crowds of people is not what is being suggested: except by those who hope to make money from themundecided

I bet those in Cornwall who are in retail and hospitality ,are not whinging surprised
