It's good to hear that members of CT are receiving their vaccinations, good luck to all those yet to have theirs. It seems like a long haul till we get everyone sorted and hear the results of the present vaccines.

I'm leaving this open for non political comments as per the guidelines. Hope you can add your own experiences and thoughts.

My first jab comes up tomorrow, I'm so glad we have research institutions that have got us this far! And I am planning breaks away in the hope of improvements on the horizon.

Should have furloughed the whole load of Muppets !  Telling us to work from home, ditto the school children  but any excuse for a European Tour for them.

Nuff Said or I'll get a Covid Banning Order,    grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!

Hey, I quite like the Muppets! Leave them alone.

Especially those 2 Grumpy G**s in the stalls (Statler and Waldorf). They remind me a lot of some Forum members.laughing

It gets worse-on the 21st the ban is extended for 4wks other than weddings. . .They are ok to have 30 guests🤷🏻‍♂️😱, what makes wedding guests immune to Indian Covid?☹️

We went to a wedding as we were in the "top thirty" to be invited and all the venue staff were wearing masks and all areas we used were socially distant laid out, very covid secure as far as was possible,,

We had our caravan at the venue  for overnight accomodation

I don’t really have a problem with it. Social distancing has to be maintained, only as many as the venue can accommodate covid compliant. Plus no dancing. There probably will not be anymore hugging than at the Euro matches and fan zones and they have been allowed for some reason. It was clearly ridiculous that you could have more than 30 seated in a pub (until someone scored) watching football, but only 30 if the same pub was used as a wedding reception.

When my friend's son married during the stricter wedding lockdown rules with no reception the music was played for their "first"dance and they danced on their own just before they left the church. Surrounded by just a few family members it was a just as special as the big event they had originally planned and abandoned four times.

I hope any weddings planned are just as memorable.

However thousands of emotional sports spectators versus small weddings doesn't make a lot of sense just now.

Needs must, and it was a great wedding very well organised;  against  the problems that are affecting the world right now with it seems no end in sightcool

But then as many are finding out in these times  it is still possible to enjoy what is allowed undecided
