Why not standardise check in & depart times?

I'm sure this has been posted before but isn't it about time the Club standardise check in time.. and introduced a standard process . Its so frustrating that sites seem to have a multitude of arrival and depart times . Surely anyone leaving can get off pitch by 11am at the latest . Thus leaving a clear hour for narrow approach roads etc . All new  arrivals then know mid-day is a fixed time no matter what site you choose. This makes most difference to those on first day as the extra hour for pitching  is nice to have .  Wardens can open and close toilet blocks etc to suit the site and the staff . Why is that not possible ?

I really do not understand  what the problem is ,as  there is no excuse for being ,at the most ten  minutes early ,with all the navigation and routing programs available these days
To be much earlier these days ,it is a deliberate decision

Wow you don't like your views/opinions being questioned do you BBsmile

I use italics to make clear it is from someone's post and not my words, I find it easier than using quotation marks. Have I debated the word better that you used or did I just ask whose definition of (it being) better are you using? or are you trying to avoid any answer?

As for deflection, again you saying that doesn't make it true, and do I really have that power? I would have thought that yours and anyone's posts stands on its own merits and nothing I can do would affect that?

I arrived at Tredegar House about half an hour early a few years ago. I put Tredegar in and forgot to use the campsites nearby alteration in. Tredegar was 27 miles further

Pretty good attempts at times however but not repetitive enough. Off to paint a garage wall now that it has warmed up outside

Even CAMC sites are accommodating. I wouldn’t have rung for it, but the day before we were due at Morvich, we received a confusing email about amending our booking, which we hadn’t done. I rang the site to check and it had been generated and sent accidentally when  they were sorting the VAT discount. As an aside I just checked the arrival time and was told although 1pm, I could arrive any time after 12:00. Due to delays we arrived about 12:30.😀

At FM it is 1300 for most, but every day there seems to be those who think it does not apply to themundecided

Although the 1300 arrival on most sites was introduced. when sites opened after the first lockdown  to give site staff more time to do the additional work required to make sites as safe as possible for members.

,which was put in place as a blanket arrival time to cover all levels of sites and staff cover at each

With the continual rise it seems with the latest variant of covid and the lifting of restrictions ,it is very obvious, that many "think its all over" as masks are not now being worn by the vast majority of people in any areasyell

Oh yes it can as some rural postcodes cover large areas, and hence the instructions for some sites "do not follow Sat nav to this site on final approachsurprised
