Yes indeedy!!! What a good idea - the driver can see a peg from whatever side he is reversing from. I commented on it to the warden, who said 2 pegs have been rolled out across the network "because some people have difficulty in understanding the rule when there was only one peg."

I regard  putting the door  that way in the cramped circumstances of  CAMC sites as good manners even if its lost on some.

If we are away with friends we pitch up so our doors face each other.

And if you are not?

You still can on pitch row or road ends in many cases without impinging on others. What about if you are the first to a row others who follow should show the same courtesy to you which ever way you pitched. Afterall the club does not determine the correct way. I’ve noticed that on sites like Troutbeck Head and at others there are pitches where practically everyone, regardless of unit, chooses to go in nose first. Makes sense to me both view and afternoon sun are the draw and no one complains to my knowledge, they have been like this for many years.

It matters not at all to me if someone pitches with their door facing mine. Why would it? 🤷🏻‍♂️

It has been that way indeed there, for many years, around 20.  Mainly to do with getting the best views and before movers were so common the wardens would offer to help push the caravan in.

Some would still reverse in so there would a mix. No problems whatsoever.

Bunree and Hargill House being two other sites with pitches like this in my experience. There are others I’ve visited where it’s common to do so . Again these have been like it for years.
