On the contrary Jim, the owner, does police the site and membership well, as do the members themselves.  People do get banned and a banning is for life.  However, in contrast to CT there is great store set in freedom of speech and debate. Plus the forum has some 55,000 active members, many more than CT, and many from abroad.
